i just picked up a set of 5’s from TC Acoustic last week to add to my existing system - these guys are the best in the business and after sales service is second to none.
For those who are more accustomed to stores opening at 9am - as is the usual practice in Australia - its more common for boutique stores like this to open later and close later in Asia. As an early riser, hanging around waiting for stores to open has never been my thing but it is what it is - the locals are mostly night owls, particularly in tropical climates.
Glad I found these videos Peter. Watched most but still have a dilemma. Because of my room, I'm trying to decide between 8" in ceiling speakers 6' behind the listener or ceiling mounted upside down ERA300 's approx same distance away. Not sure what would sound better.
I like that Sonos doesn't replace their products as often as other brands. But the Sonos Amp is overdue for an upgrade. I'd like to get rid of my receiver and have proper front L&R and Atmos.
Problem is that particular Dolby Atmos demo sounds good on any device. Heck even on tv speakers it's why they always use it to show off. It's called 'Santeria' for reference.
I know its never going to happen, but it would be awesome to have the Sonos Fives as L&R channels and the Arc as a center channel. The outward firing speakers on the ARC seem pointless IMO.
Thank you for the video - which TV model is being used in the 7.2.4 test? And how far is the listening position from the TV (2 meters?)? It is worth noting that Sonos Arc it is almost at ear level as it should be for best Atmos. What was the height channel setting? +0? Or +5/10? Thank you
Great store. But those rear era300’s in the living room set up should face forward. The front firing speakers do not work. It does not make sense to face it towards the listening position.
I don't know why the rear surround sound and height are not playing. Can someone help me solve it? I did the same test (with sonos app linked with apple music, and arc, sub and 2 era 300).
The Sonos Arc with wall mount will have the EQ temper bass to reduce resonance from the wall. I don't know how the Arc will sound without the subs to supplement for bass heavy music or shows?
Peter have you demoed the Svs Wireless Pro’s? I am curious you seem to be always looking for that perfect sound stage. P.S. I bought the Sony Hts 2000 soundbar and the rear satellite’s based on your recommendation I don’t regret it for a moment. I recently bought the wireless pro’s from Svs and honestly I like the built in features they offer. You might want to evaluate them and tell me how you feel about them.
Presumably those B&W Formation Duo speakers were linked up to a Sonos port? What was that like to use? Did you have a separate volume control for the speakers / Sonos port?
What about 4 era plus 2 sub and Arc ? ( 2 Era surround e 2 ERA stereo front left/right ) I saw from review that works really well with volume appropriate ) what do you think?
Can one use the ceiling speakers/amp combo configured in S2 for additional, downward firing, atmos channels; either rear, front or both? If both, would one need an amp for each pair, or can one amp run 4 ceiling speakers?
I would go for Sonos headphones to use on the Sonos wi-fi network, bluetooth option, noise cancelling feature, and 3.5mm & USB-C wired to replace my Bose QC-45. I would use the Sonos headphones for late night TV viewing without waking up the entire family or take with me for traveling/vacation. The QC-45 does everything; but, the late night TV viewing thing. I have a Roam instead for late night TV viewing and mute the Arc/dual subs/Fives.
@@jargodm I have a LG OLED with access to the same streaming I have on my Roku on a (dumb) TV in a spare bedroom. The Roku I have in a spare room has a headphone port on the remote (never tried).
Hi all, have a question. Once the demo material is downloaded, it's just put it on a USB, connect to the TV and that's it? or any other step is needed? Thanks in advance for the advice!! :)
What are the white stand speakers? They are not Sonos. They look like bowers and wilkins, but I'm not sure they are. Can you please let me know what they are ....... as they look cool and I can find out more about them.

Peter, your energy was top notch in this video!!! We can feel your excitement
Once again, we appreciate taking your time giving us some helpful information, peter pee🥰
Thanks PP and congrats Sonos/TCA on your new store ヅ

Interesting that the 300s are turned inwards... as I was told to have them face forwards?
Face forward if it is behind you for a few feet! If is directly behind you or beside it is recommended to turn inwards
@@javierlaw9963 Thank you
Very insightful and entertaining! Thank you Peter. Fantastic video per usual.
Very nicely done. They SHOULD sponsor this video.
Great video Peter!
Hi great video! Did you discuss the new Sonos Arc for later 2024?

It is funny to watch Peter is doing the guided tour, he should become a sales rep with his knowledge of the product
Salut Peter merci pour cette super vidéo 👌👌👌🙏

It depends on if they are sitting behind you at call or not.
Wow. Amazing....

You should get the settings from them
Nice video and informative material for me. I wonder it is better sound to have SOnOS Arc wall mount ? Any advises, consider during renovation.

Ah… bummer I was just in Malaysia and Singapore. Will they have a flagship store in NYC where I live?

you are the king of sonos !
What are the sound settings for the room demo?
He should have done it in the local language but add sub-titles.
I'm happy they speak English, but sometimes it's nice to hear local language.
Those B&w formation are meant to sound amazing but I can't get over the looks
Professor I have question would it be recommended to add the Amp for use tv and music?

what bass and treble settings did they use on the arc???
Thanx🎉

If you have Roku It's easy to switch audio to any headphones, including your Bose.

Hello Peter , what is the best streaming app are you guys using my Sonos doesn’t sound like that in Canada
Sonos S2 app is gonna get a major makeover on May 7th. Remember to update kids😊
How do you download and then play the Atmos demos on the Sonos system?
Was wondering the same. I have the exact same set up and would like to demo something the sounds amazing.
@@alanalvarado2026 download on a USB drive from your computer and plug it in to your TV input. Play the file there. eARC does the rest.

Hey Peter pee how is this sonos setup compared to bose ultra with surround and 2 sub 700 modules thanks
Hey... when is the Sonos conference coming in 2024?❤❤
SOME EXPERT RECOMMEND ME TO TRY THE ARC + SUBS + 2 FIVES. AND THE RESULT IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE ERA 300.
This is what I have and love it. Waiting to see if the Arc Gen 2 and/or Era 500 reviews to upgrade.
Wish has similar store in London
They used to have one in Shoreditch but closed it

did not think the Era 300's need pointing inwards?
Its even what sonos recommends
Even if mounted to a wall?
AND THE IKEA SONOS?
I dun know if the sales person is promoting the products or Pete is selling and promoting the products 😂
hmmm. The quality is amazing good. if you are using projector, Sonos will ask you to buy TV. the most ridiculous answer i got from professional. lols
