I have the v1 Arc, dual Gen 3 subs, and Fives surrounds. I upgraded to the Arc Ultra with zero issues. I removed the subs and surrounds first. Swapped out the v1 Arc for the Arc Ultra (used the same v1 Arc power/ethernet cable). Did the Arc Ultra software updates on the bar and app. Added the subs one at a time and the rear Fives were added as a pair. Used advance TruePlay with iPhone 13 Pro Max and made additional adjustments with app EQ and renamed to the main TV room.
I moved the v1 Arc to master bedroom to replace Beam Gen 1 (Gen 3 sub+Symfonisk rears). Did the same procedures with zero issues. The old Beam Gen 1 moved to spare room on a TV with no soundbar.

I switched out my arc to my ultra. Synced my two 300s and sub s and true play under 30 min. Ultra is better and worth it to me.

Yeah I was thinking of upgrading to the new arc ultra but I decided to update my surround speakers from the one to the 300s...
