Love your yoshi vids man. Nice to see someone put some time into getting some guides and info out there about the character. :) Not to throw shade or anything but you don't seem like the highest skill yoshi player. I saw how hard you were mashing your tilts as well as your aerials. You never used dair at all, that move is really good for forcing tech situations and when you have them on the run you can use dair on a hard read for an easy 30% and possibly even follow it up with aerials or a jab lock or tilt. I see myself as a more mid teir skilled yoshi main. Like you said, parrying is pretty much essential if you want to get in close on characters that are typically a bad MU on Yoshi. But, yeah, I don't know if I fully agree with the full on agro strat as Yoshi. It can work out like half the time but it's easy to punish if the other player is good. I tend to play more methodical with yoshi. I put on just enough pressure to force the other player to make some money moves and focus more on evading while patiently baiting for openings and go for the hard hitting combos. Hope to see more stuff like this in the future! That is if you still play Yoshi a lot 👍🏾
Currently working on a Snake Beginner’s Guide but that is totally in the works. Just know that Yoshi does play a LOT differently from others. He doesn’t have many true combos but rather thrives off of constant pressure and gimping :) 👍🏻 Thanks for the support!
I’ve been getting into yoshi more after a happy accident of playing him and seeing his superior aerial game. People have a hard time knowing what to do against him since he’s uncommon as well.

At 4:47, Just curious about his futter jump. How do you keep his futter jump after tossing a egg in mid air? When I try using it, the futter jump won’t activate. 🤔
Martyr is surely but I've played too much with Yoshi and it resist too much smashes even with a several damage percent, not quite is because it must to know the trick to resist the smashes, well I'm not sure if other characters can resist smashes in several damage percent. Humilty I just saying Overall, is an OP character

Yoshi can resist too much damage than other characters.
No he takes just as much damage as other characters. But he does resist more knockback from his double jump and is overall rather a heavy character.

Damage is static. He resists knockback because of his weight. That’s all.
