That's crazy that he can get that close even when they are hunting.
To be fair that particular lion is the one he has the strongest relationship with. There is another video when a different lioness catches some bird and she doesn't let Kevin get close (she ran away with the prey in her mouth)
Another day in Africa. Amazing when he got so close to lioness when she took it down. She still has it by the throat.

And that's what they mean when they say a captive lion is still a wild lion,she was born and raised in captivity and took down that buck like she had done it all her life

Megs sister Amy who was MIA during this spontaneous hunt just recently died of cancer at the age of 17, Amy may have reached 18, I don't know. But they were 11 years old here in this video. Poor Meg lost her constant companion of 17 years and sister! I've been heartbroken about it and worried that Meg may follow her sister fairly quickly because of her great age! African Lions and Lionesses can be brutal and violent but they are strong and stoic and beautiful too!! I certainly don't want to live in a world without these majestic creatures!! Thank You to GoPro and The Lion Whisperer!!

That was absolutely amazing! That must be the only footage of it's kind anywhere, like ever, lol! I feel much empathy for the creature that Meg killed but it was fair and square as Kevin said. Meg was eleven years old here, by herself she stalked and took down this animal and she let Kevin walk right up to it too! Where was Amy while her sister was hunting?! LOL!

+Maxwell Williams Kevin works with Hyenas, black leopards, other than lions. Dont think he has any cheetahs. Take note, so far, I've only seen the Go Pro camera on Meg & Amy, not the other animals.
The Hyenas I suppose will tear the camera apart,seen the vids where the hyena tries biting the camera Kevin put on the ground.
