A beautiful city whose name caught my attention because I am from Iraq
The Ol' hometown. Lived there since I was 7 yrs old. Sultan grad in 1976. Moved out into the "world" in 1979. A great placed to grow up.
I used to teach at D. C. Lincoln Elementary School, room 3, in Bagdad. Those were the best days of my life.
Steve Mazer What year did you teach?
I taught there from 1986 to 1988. They had to 'cut' a first grade class and that's why supposedly they wouldn't renew my contract after that second year. Otherwise, I'd still be there. I liked it so much there, I never would have left voluntarily.
I live in bagdad az and it sucks good luck finding friends when you first move here
Where is Saddams palace at?
I lived there in the middle 70S
Why they didn’t call it Al Basrah
