I literally almost fainted listening to her describe the biopsy. What these doctors are doing without anesthesia or opiate level pain management, is SICKENING. They would NEVER do this to a man. Women we need to stop this madness now
I had a pap smear come back with issues so I was scheduled for a colposcopy and she did the cervical biopsies and they pinched a little but because I was having some symptoms such as a discharge she asked me if I wanted to do a uterine biopsy while she was up there anyway..I said ok..I'm pretty sure I would have asked if it would hurt...anyway she must have said not that bad but I started crying and the assistant was holding my hand..I can tell you that I would never do it again without some kind of pain killer if I had a uterus ..I ended up having stage 1 cervical cancer and stage 1 uterine cancer..she was shocked she reached up there blindly and hit the small early cancer. They don't normally seem to offer any kind of pain killers or freezing but it hurt way more than I was told.
Thank you for this video. I’m so glad you found a much nicer surgeon. A good bedside manner is very important. And no one should be rushed after a cancer diagnosis. You have a lovely family (apology for saying something you know). I wish you everything good in life.

I saw a female gynecologist for about 15 years and over for over a 4 year period I had three transvaginal ultrasounds because I was having pain in my right ovary area. After each ultrasound, I would ask how does my ovary look and they would say fine. I was put on bio identical hormones when I was 46 because I was going through menopause and having 20 hot flashes a day and 6 night sweats at night I didn’t want to go on them because of the women’s health initiative study having been done recently and women going off of hormones. But she convinced me to go on biodentical hormones she never checked my hormone levels and she retired. I was having what I thought were yeast infections. No blood I ended up, going to another gynecology office and saw a nurse practitioner. She took a look at my medical records and she asked me “has anything ever been said to you about your endometrial thickness“? And I said no. She said she needed to do an endometrial biopsy that day and she did in the office. A week later she calls me and tells me I have complex hyperplasia with atypia. I need to see a gynecologist and the only cure would be a hysterectomy. I later found out that my endometrial thickness readings in the three ultrasounds were 15, 17 and 19 nothing over 5 cm is normal after menopause, but nothing was ever said to me by the prior gynecologist. So I had a complete hysterectomy February 6, 2015. Pathology was done on the table, pelvic wash and three lymph nodes removed, preliminary pathology there was no cancer found. Two weeks later final pathology report came in no cancer found, 19:56 The hysterectomy was only thing I needed to be cured. I went back on identical hormones six months later, I found a lump in my vagina two biopsies later I was found to have adenocarcinoma of the vagina of endometrial origin. I had a second opinion at cancer treatment center of America in Illinois and the doctor was in concurrence with the original radiology oncologist that I’d seen. Underwent 25 external radiation treatments and five bracherapy treatments vaginally. Now I have to use a medical grade dilator three times a week so I don’t form scar tissue that would make pelvic exams impossible. No longer can I take hormones. It was so strange that even the gyno oncologist at CTCA had never seen it. The only thing they could come up with was that a cancer cell had been shed when they removed my uterus through the vagina.
Oh no..how awful! My biopsy was done with a straw shaped device that scraps the interior of your uterus and the most painful part for most ppl, is them opening your cervix with the straw. But heat you went through sounds terrible!😢 I truly pray for your healing ❤
My dear friend had endometrial cancer and had no bleeding, only gastrointestinal symptoms. She was not listened to and was eventually diagnosed at stage 4.
Been there done that Endometrial cancer survivor for 12 years Diagnosed at 42, spotting, bleeding and uterine polip. After many tests and advocating for myself it turned out that polip was cancerous. If you think something is not right please get to the bottom of it , no matter if you need to see several doctors
Get a check up if possible and if the physician doesn't give you a satisfying answer get a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th etc etc opinion until you're satisfied. It's your body.

Diagnosed with endometrial adenocarcinoma at Thanksgiving last year. Surgery path revealed stage 1b grade 1. Pet scan in April came back clear.
