TC doesn't get the props he deserves. The songs this dude created was the theme song for a lot of us growing up in the early 90s when we had our little crushes in grade school. Thank you, sir! Still listen to his songs in 2024! And R.I.P. to our angel Aaliyah. We miss you.
Tevin Campell will always be a legend to me. When I would hear the beauty of the R&B sound in the 90's is hard not to mention or think about the sound of Tevin Campell's voice and impact. I love that Usher gave him his flowers at one of his shows.
That's good he gave Tevin props because I remember he was throwing sneak disses at him on his debut song "Just Call Me a Mack" from the Poetic Justice soundtrack! 😂😂😂
I don't like his voice, it's too high and thin. But i do like the studio versions of some of his songs though. It's the same with Keith Sweat, I hate Keith Sweat voice but I do like some of his songs.
I still bump Alone With You ❤❤❤ definitely one of my favs. My sister is the reason I know majority of the young artists that were out in the 90s. Posters were plastered all over the bedroom wall. I thank her for that. I thank my mother for getting me familiar with the old school artists along with new Jack swing. They have no idea how much they positively impacted me in this area 😊
I2I is a CLASSIC. He KILLED it with Rosie Gaines. Tomorrow, Can We Talk and Round and Round are also MEMORABLE. I knew Tevin Campbell was a force to be reckoned with. Thanks for doing a profile on the LEGEND that is Tevin Campbell. Happy early birthday, Tevin. 🎉🎈❤
Tevin Campbell was an underrated artist that never really got the credit of playing the character Poweline in "A Goofy Movie" which I heard a rumor that the role was originally for Bobby Brown. I still think that Disney missed a golden opportunity of doing a Powerline album that would have made Tevin Campbell a superstar before leaving the music business. Tevin did a recent appearance for Disney celebrating the anniversary of "A Goofy Movie" with most of the voice actors in attendance. When Tevin performed I2I in person, he blew everyone away showing that he still got it. I could careless about his sexuality as long as he's happy being himself. RIP Quincy Jones
I wish people felt comfortable to reveal their true selves so the public can’t haunt them about their secrets. Being honest gives them the power and deflates the public’s gossip. Glad he’s finally able to speak his truth
Why can't people's sexuality be their business? It's a private thing that no one should be pressured/obligated to share with strangers, celebrity or not.
Thank you so much for sharing this Tevin Campbell story. Before the likes of Usher and Chris Brown, Tevin was the real Boy Wonder, thanks to Jazz musician Bobbi Humphrey and the late music guru Quincy Jones.
Even now, in my mid 40s, I still rock out to his songs from A Goofy Movie! Why weren't they mentioned? I also didn't know that he was gay. I mean, girls loved him, back in the day, so I wasn't expecting it. Well, good for him! 👍"Stand Out," brotha!
I definitely liked a lot of his music. And you're freaking me out because I was honestly about to request his story a few weeks ago when I was reminded of his music.
You know what I wish that Usher and the other guys from that song would have sung it at the BET Awards earlier this year. I would love to see an updated version of that song.
I enjoyed watching this because I’m a fan of Tevin’s! What I did not enjoy were the beeps.. Was that really necessary? It was hard to keep up with the story..
Who remembers Tevin’s episode on The Fresh Prince?
“Happy Birthday Ashley”
😁
He comes in singing. Says happy birthday Ashley. Think he kissed her then she faints.
I mean.. they showed it
that automatically made him my first celebrity crush 🥰😍🤩🤭
*faints*
Yes 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Who else is STILL waiting for the Powerline album to drop? 🙋🏿♂️
✋🏾
Right now 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I 2 I!
🥰🥰🫶🏾
Need it

His song "Tommorow" still brings a tear to my eye...its sung with so much innocence and joy
I’ve been revisiting that song after Quincy Jones’s death and Kamala’s loss 😢
his performance as Powerline is seriously iconic 💛🖤⚡️
Yes it is glad he loves performing it too
GOATED I grew up on it, and still listen to those songs to this day lol
It was so iconic that during its 20th anniversary of A Goofy Movie, he actually performed it live.
Can We Talk is still a hit to this day
I used to work at a psyche ward and one of the patients used to sing this song at the top of his lungs! 😂😂😂
RIP QUINCY JONES🙌🏾👏🏾 😇 THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR GIFTS 🤗🥰
Tevin Campbell has such an Amazing distinct voice 🎶🎶

Rest peacefully to Mr.Quincy Jones.
Tomorrow is a MASTERPIECE. We sang this in Glee Club back when I was in the sixth grade. ❤
Tevin was sooooo underrated
I don't like his voice, it's too high and thin. But i do like the studio versions of some of his songs though. It's the same with Keith Sweat, I hate Keith Sweat voice but I do like some of his songs.
He's a legend nothing underrated about him.

Tevin is truly loved and on the soundtrack to most of lives🥰
Tevin!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💐
He’s sooo talented and a huge part of 90s r&b
Jaimee Foxworth AKA Judy Winslow from Family Matters also appeared in Quincy Jones and Tevin Campbell's Tomorrow video as one of the kids in the choir
So did the little boy from Ghost Dad and Saved By The Bell The New Class I think his named is Salim Grant.
Shhh is such a classic song. Tevin Campbell put it down.
Couldn’t wait for this, he deserves his props more than others.
Tevin is one of my favourite vocalists across all genres. He has a magical voice 🥹
Usher is my dude... but i can't picture him singing... Can We Talk.
Me neither, wow.
Agreed. Only Tevin could’ve done it!!!
Agreed with all of you ❤
Nah his voice ain't hitting those notes
Love tevin 😊so happy his albums are available to stream and enjoy again.
This was right on time!

@@maryperry6573Absolutely! Tevin has an AMAZING voice too! ❤
Round and Round and Of Course The Joint He Did With The Now Late Great Quincy Jones RIP 🙏🏾 Tevin Campbell Did His Thing In Graffiti Bridge.

That "I'm Ready Album" ❤
He also did The powerline on The Goofy Movie.
How was that skipped over? Tevin was awesome on that soundtrack!!!!
Tevin's voice is truly a gift from God,his voice makes my heart smile, and I am so glad he is doing well💐❤
He's getting better with age ❤️
Rest In Peace, Quincy D. Jones.🕊️🤍🙏🏾
Rip Quincy jones thax for discovering Tevin Campbell
His 1st album is one of the best of the 90s! An absolute classic full of jams 🎉
I wish people felt comfortable to reveal their true selves so the public can’t haunt them about their secrets. Being honest gives them the power and deflates the public’s gossip. Glad he’s finally able to speak his truth

R.i.p to Quincy jones
R.I.P Quincy Jones 🙏🏾🕊
Thank you so much for sharing this Tevin Campbell story.
Before the likes of Usher and Chris Brown, Tevin was the real Boy Wonder, thanks to Jazz musician Bobbi Humphrey and the late music guru Quincy Jones.
Quincy Jones you were a phenomenal genius.
The irony this came out today
RIP Q
Is this a coincidence? If you know you know.
He did an amazing job as Powerline in the movie A Goofy Movie
He's on tour now (Kings of R&B)...
I went to go see him in Southhaven MS a couple of weeks. He did an amazing job.
Who was he scrapping with on “you will know”?!
Love me some, Tevin. Such an incredible talent. x
Love you forever Tevin!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Tevin also had a song on the Boyz In The Hood soundtrack.
It was Just Ask Me To.
I've seen Tevin more than once in Hairspray on Broadway playing Seaweed. It was great to see him on stage!
Gifted and amazing vocal talent. Still my favourite rendition of O Holy Night.
RIP Quincy Jones

Who most likely groomed and r*ped Tevin. Rest in hell Quincy 😢😢😢
More like RIH. He probably ruined this boy.
Amazing story on Tevin Campbell
P Diddy produced back to the world. P Diddy = YIKES!😱
I know😢
Cue the fake outrage.
Tevin Campbell also appeared on New York Undercover with Brandy singing a cover of The Closer I Get to You on the episode Digital Underground

Benny Medina….poor Tevin 😔
R.I.P. Quincy Jones.
Tevin Campbell is so Underrated his talent will never be forgotten ❤️.
Tevin Campbell also appeared on Moesha in the episode The Rite Stuff and Niecy asked him, can we talk
Do Quincy Jones next
Yes, may he rest in peace.
RIP Quincy Jones! One of the greatest to ever do it! 🤍🙏🕊
Just saw him tweet on his birthday, so I came to watch.
I definitely liked a lot of his music. And you're freaking me out because I was honestly about to request his story a few weeks ago when I was reminded of his music.
His song "I'm Ready" takes me back to a beautiful time in my life. I miss the year 1993. 😭
Tevin takes me back to middle school! We actually share a birthday 😁♍. I think it would be interesting for Usher to cover Can We Talk
Do Quincy Jones
“Can we Talk” will always be my number one go to Karaoke song 🎤 😅
His feature on Black Men United song really stole the show.
You know what I wish that Usher and the other guys from that song would have sung it at the BET Awards earlier this year. I would love to see an updated version of that song.
He got turned inside out by Quincy Jones and his music industry gatekeeper crew who threw him away after they were done with him...
And p Diddy is where it all ended.
I remember when Usher took R Kelly spot for the live performance “You will know” Usher tried to upstage Tevin
Legend 💯 ❤️🔥
When I tell you that Shhhh
Was and always will be my ishhhh.
Prince writing ✍️ game is unmatched.
💚💚💚💚
Don’t forget about the goofy movie he was in that and had tracks for the movie
happy for him!
Rest In Peace Quincy Jones ❤🕊️🙏🏽.
Might’ve been too ahead of his time. Had he came out 94-96 I think things would’ve been diff.
Tomorrow was my 8th grade graduation song in 1998. That's wonderful graduation song.
Young Tevin’s singing voice reminded me of Whitney Houston. One of her sons fr.
And Quincy died today 😢
I enjoyed watching this because I’m a fan of Tevin’s! What I did not enjoy were the beeps.. Was that really necessary? It was hard to keep up with the story..
You Tube will demonetize the channel by using / saying certain words
@ Ohhhh ok had no idea about that! Thank you for telling me.
The 12" edit version of Alone With You will always remain as the best version
❤💜
We want the Powerline album
I don't remember him having bob twist braids in his hair, look like Max from "Living Single". 😆
Can you please do a video on Quincy Jones. 🫶🏼
I love I2I with Tevin and Rosie Gaines on the Goofy Movie soundtrack
TBF i first hear his amazing voice from a Goofy movie before relizing i very much knew a few of his 90's songs. but a win is a win
I love all his songs ❤and I like Usher but he couldn’t sing can we talk like Tevin can.
"It's POWERLINE !!!!" Seriously, how/why did you skip that ?
Do you have a deep dive on pink while she was in her R&b era?
I really wanna see what happened video of MC smooth “The Female Mack”
Yall not gonna put respect on Powerlines name?!??😢 oh nah
Definitely was a fan of his music.
Bless him, but you could tell he was gay at a very young age, as he was effeminate in his talking voice and style..
Diddy is to blame
No mention of "POWERLINE" thats a sin
You had to mute "sexuality"?? 😂😂😂
Why is sexuality blocked? it's not a curse, slang
I bet his altercation was with r Kelly lol because that’s who wrote the you will know song
So that's who he got it with into cause he discussed on Uncensored last year, but he never said who it was.
@ I’ll bet my last on it… Kells wrote and arranged the song
Ya'll mean what DIDN'T happen.
