    I wish FA Cup Final build ups were as important now, as well as the competition itself.

      Sadly its my team and others that treats the fa cup like bargain basement cup. Im a fan of Liverpool 2006 last won it 2012 since last final. No desire sadly for it.

    Jimmy was one of the greats of British telly at that time.
    Brilliant interview that.
    He’s such a down to earth fella Jim.
    Mike must have liked him.
    Even if he had no idea who he was.
    Was a very relaxed chat.
    Greavsie is a top Bloke.
    God bless him.

    ITV brought the best out of Tyson by covering his fights against Marvis Frazier, Jose Riberta, Alfonso Ratcliff, Trevor Berbick, James Bonecrusher Smith, Pinklon Thomas, Tony Tucker, Tyrell Biggs, Larry Holmes, Tony Tubbs, Michael Spkins and the last one against Carl Williams. Jimmy bless him was indeed scared stiff! When Tyson said he was ready to beat Holmes when he was 19 to become the only teenager to win the strap n even maybe 16 it reminded me of Naz. Ok maybe MAYBE we in England got carried away by Naseem Hamed cos he wasnt exactly fighting the same calibre of boxers early that they do in the States. BUT Their is NO doubt he was an ultra physical specimen and a BIG talent especially early on. He peaked early so maybe he WAS that good after all, but like Tyson, his uniqueness, explosiveness and blazing foot and hand speed comes Youth. Naz said that if allowed, he firmly believed that, if given the chance [ which was illegal anyway ] he could have won the British Flyweight title at FOURTEEN! This was based on him sparring and actually HANDLING [apparently anyway] PROFESSIONAL fighters even CRUISERWEIGHTS. Naz thought he would have won anyway. Maybe, maybe not cos it would have been an outrageous gamble and could have ruined one of our premier boxing talents from this country. People do forget Naz won FIVE world titles and prob earned over 40 million pounds and is considered a disappointment haha.

    • @jerryoshea3116
      @jerryoshea3116 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Naz was very quick and hit hard,but I think his main attribute was his awkwardness(many fighters trained by the "Ingle family,have had this)..But to be fair he fought and beat who was put in front of him..But one and perhaps his main mistake was,to not listen to Emanual Stewart,who he hired and trained with for a while..
      And another main difference and factor for European fighters is the sheer size of the US and Mexico/Central America.(The US population=340 Mill..the Mexican=127)and Prize fighting is still massive down there(look at Canelo)
      So the "Law of averages"dictates that it's very likely someone will"pop up"to throw a wrench into the proceedings...
      .PS And I'v lived in London and for the past 21 yrs the US(presently Las Vegas)

    Was this the last time LFC sang the national anthem? Can't hear any boos? I wonder why they boo? Can't think why? Oh that's right I remember now,1989 and the fact in 2023 nobody (Masonic Lodge) has said sorry and still shift blame. Well done the LFC fans showing that today we have backbones. It's freedom of expression in a time when freedoms are being crushed. ✌️

You know it would be filled with wannabe stars from love island, tv bloody chefs, and the husbands [ or wifes lol] of celebs. In other words; People With NO TALENT.
