When adding the vktry in book1 does it raise your foot up and hurt toes? My sons feet are wide and loves the Book1. Don’t want to ruin them if it’s going to hurt his feet
I prefer shoes with bottom loaded shank plates because they are more comfortable & better shock absorbing. I thought about getting these inserts but afraid it’s going to feel hard my feet. How would rate the comfort after using these playing full court for a couple of hours?
I see your point! It definitely takes some time getting used to them as they need to be broken in at first. After that I would say shock absorption works very well. They do feel a bit stiff but that’s just them being carbon fiber. I don’t have any issues/pain with them in shoes that don’t have a carbon plate, I just noticed that it got too stiff with shoes that have a carbon plate + the VKTRY insoles
@@ls_hoopsthanks for the reply! I might try them for the 90 days and pair them with the new Jordan 39’s since they don’t have a shank plate but excellent cushioning
@@ls_hoopsthat's great, looking forward to seeing how you like it after testing! You're probably the final piece I need to see if I'm gonna grab them or not. Thanks, Lukas!!
It really depends how much you use them. I have two pairs I’ve been using for about a year now and both show signs of wear but are still good to go. I don’t use them every day tho as it depends on the shoes I’m wearing
@@ls_hoops they last about a year with regular use but could last longer. My first pair is still usable but the cf started to lift up off the yellow foam. I re glued it to but it still comes off the foam after a month or so so that pair I just keep straight in the shoe they are installed in…that way there will be no major problems. You get more problems trying to remove a heavily used set than not removing.
I did that with the Tatum 1 already and have a video about that too, that’s why I thought it would be interesting to compare carbon fiber shoes vs non carbon fiber shoes + VKTRY
I wouldn’t accept a partnership if I didn’t believe in the product. I only promote shoes/braces/insoles that I use and that I think can help me & others
@Truth! You and your coach put in time and work around busy lives to make this video so there’s that. I’m a hooper and youth elementary/middle school prep school coach..now newly subscribed to this channel. I have 4 pairs of VK gold and got my first pair in 2018. They were always $199 before and maybe $130 on discount around the holidays. Now cheaper retail cost… I noticed is that the footbed lining looks to be of cheaper material..not that it matters too much but did any issues (quality etc) arise? I’m asking because probably getting another pair soon because the last pair is from 2023. I order them from a state over so the shipping is quick and I have them custom add a grip tape material section to the forefoot of the insoles on all my ordered pairs! Perhaps I should make a video to show my pairs and the differences I’m taking about even though I suck at being a content creator 😅😅.
@@jimmywarren01thanks for all the detail Jimmy! Really interesting to hear your thoughts. I didn’t have big issues with the lining, I’d say it’s average wear down after about a year of using them regularly. And for the content - go for it would love to see it! @@abominator69 it is popular due to content creators promoting false claims. Have you seen a pro basketball player using carbon fiber insoles? If you have tried the wow 10 with a full length carbon fiber shank, you will know how painful the break in time is.

They are more affordable. They are backedand used by current players NBA like Dame Lillard, Chris Paul etc. So many reasons Lu.

Thanks for the positive feedback, really appreciate it!

It's not have any comfort, it hurt your feet, and i'm sure that Lukas never use this trash item when he play for his pro team
Can you review the NB Hesi Low V2? Seems like a lot of people like the second iteration!
Just got a pair today actually! Also heard a lot of good things so I’m curious 👀

can you do Game Day insoles review?
Do u know how the rebound effect compares to a custom Orthotic?
I’ve only ever hard a custom orthotic once, they didn’t really give any rebound
Recommend any shoes for wide footers in nike
Yes! KD 17, Sabrina 2 and Book 1 (midfoot only + half size up)
How long until you have to replaced them for another set ?

Should I put the VKTRY insoles in the Book 1s?
For me it felt a bit too stiff but I think you should just try it out yourself and see how you like it- also feel free to let me know if you do 🙌
Can you test game day insoles? They're cheaper and Dame uses them
I’ll see what I can do!
need to compare gt hustle 2 stock vs vktry
You mean comparing just the insoles or the shoe with the respective insoles? :)
@@ls_hoops GT Hustle 2 as is vs GT hustle 2 with Vktry!

prefer move insoles cuz its way better for the price
Fair enough

Virtually no difference in vktry insoles compared to any other insole that have a shank plate or full length carbon fiber

@sn34kg33k yes many NBA pros use the vktry insoles and not just the roleplayers
Nope. Majority of nba players use custom orthotics. CP3, Dame and BI use move game day pro.
