I was a Jordan 38 guy, ended up with plantar fasciitis. The Jordan’s were not supportive enough and my foot was getting overworked. The high AE1s are amazing, I’m small guy and 44 years old. Still quick on my feet. The highs are like playing in supportive clouds, the weight isn’t an issue. The forefoot feels low with minimal cushion, the overall feel is amazing, silky smooth heal to toe and amazing grip. I’m a huge fan. Such a great shoe at the fraction of the price of other bigger name shoes. Just do yourself a favour and replace the insole with something decent and also swap the poor laces with something flat and better!! Thanks for your review!!
The highs are somewhere between good to great, the lows are horrendous, basically unwearable for me. The heel slippage is a massive issue for the lows even going down half a size, and at that point the toe box becomes way too narrow and suffocating. My only solution was to swap in longer laces and tie a runners’ knot. But that’s a lot of extra work to make the shoe barely usable. The cushioning setup is also better in the highs
I use VKTRY insoles in shoes where I don’t like torsional support and/or the insoles are bad. The only exception is if shoes already have a stiff mid foot/shank plate. So I think I’ll stick with the regular ones on the lows
@@ls_hoops I see, many thanks! Is your wide foot enough to prevent heel slip with going a full size up in most of your shoes or do you do something special to keep em in place?
What about breaking these in, have a little tightness in the toe with pressure on top of toes. Wondering if they do break in and mold to the toe, the highs….
Hey dude i have to a question, i was thinking between book 1, way of wayde 808 3 ultra v2 low, and way of wayde all city 12. I am fast play both indoors and outdoors ( indoors 2 to 3 times a week ) who likes to play inside the point area either by penetrating or taking mid range shots and i take ball down the court
Hey! I think the AC12 will be the best for your play style and in terms of durability. I think if you have narrow feet you could even go with your true size
i genuinely don’t understand how people manage to hoop in the AE1 Lows. the entire tongue pops out due to the heel slippage and i even went a size down.
@ high is very heavy and as you mentioned the ankle collar doesn't do a thing. A lot of movement inside the shoe and cannot tight the forefoot. Low has the worst heelslippage i ever wore. I don't know how Edwards wore them. BUT a very good looking shoes.
As a performance sneaker for basketball: highs
As for leisure (give it time people woll wear em): lows, 100% but highs can be decent too.

Glad you liked it- and thanks for your insights 🙌

Totally agree with you on the point that it’s too much work- are you a narrow footer? It’s so interesting because I didn’t experience heel slip at all
@ I have a pretty weird foot shape. Wide in the toe box but my feet and ankle are very skinny (low instep, skinny to average mid foot)
I have the same AE1 (velocity blue) but haven’t tried the lows due to the heel slippage comment from every review I’ve watched 😂
That’s why I was also hesitant to give them a try haha. Turns out it didn’t occur for me.
Thanks for the review! Any plans on playing in these with a different insole? Or do you usually just stick to the stock insoles of each shoe?

You were cookin last game. Very efficient work.
Thanks man!
Good video ! Keep going bro ! When will you be testing the Dame 9? Have a nice day.
Thanks bro! Should be at the start of next month. Waiting for them to drop at KICKZ in my size :)

They should but I did hear some people complain about pain in the toe are
AE 1 high or Puma MB 1 or 3? I have wide feet and I want to know which is the better overall performer since there are no comparison videos. Thanks!
is the heel slippage on the lows really that bad? i was considering buying between it or the book 1 or the regular ae 1
For me it honestly wasn’t. I think it could be if you have narrow feet
Can u tell me some shoes For the center ( 5 shoes pls ) also use for flat wide feet 🥺
Jordan 38 low, GT Jump 2, MB.03, KD 17,
great video!!
Thank you! 😊
So who won, lows or highs?

all city 12 it is durable and springy so it will suit your play style well
@@tornadogod7588 thanks for helping me, im narrow/normal width foot but saw a lot of reviews to go up half a size what should i do?

Do you prefer the high or lows for support? I can really relate to the widefoot issues and that's why I chose Adidas 😂 so nice review!
Thanks bro! I’d say the highs are a bit more supportive just because the heel can’t slip out as easily
@ thanks for your advise! i can really relate with the heel slip issue with the lows and it makes me feel unstable.
why the lows are lighter? is it because it uses lightboost cushioning?
I believe it’s because the cushioning is lighter and because there’s a bit less material
@ls_hoops ow yeah the it's obvious that the lows have less material hahah my bad.
Cooles Video
Danke!

And for me it’s so interesting that I don’t experience any of it. Do you have narrow feet? For me they felt really good
My budget is around 200$ or under 210$
Hate them both but too beautiful to let them go. Just using them for daily use or gym. For playing there are a lot of options.
They definitely work as off court shoes as well! Why didn’t you like them on court?

@@RC0710do you have wide feet? I'm planning to get the high or the Puma MB 1/3. Thanks!
@ nope. Normal only.
