      @philipalcock6795 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

that might be a great idea. The next tie you have to hire one try it ad see how it goes. i mean a youtube channel showing what you do is almost f not better than a reference ( maybe ) ..
but i have no idea personally only by watching some of the same channels that you are subscribed to..

It's no wonder why the trees are dying, a trees roots spread roughly 50% FARTHER than the upper canopy spreads...
So if a tree has a 50 foot diameter canopy, it has a 75 foot diameter root network...And numbnuts cut the bank down MAYBE 10 feet from the trunk on either side...
The property owner should Sue numbnuts for the destruction of the trees (Tree Law can get VERY expensive in a hurry) unless the owner wanted the trees to be removed in the first place, in which case, they should have been felled before the pond was dug...

He's talking about building a road for the haul truck and it gets me thinking about what's called a Corduroy road made from logs two logs lengthwise on each outside edge with running logs across those.
    Dirt packed between the logs.
They were used extensively during the Civil War in many regions of Forrest and swamp mixed areas.

The pained expression on Chris’s face at @11:35 says it all. It’s tight and furrowed brow. He’s keeping the video G rated. But you can tell choice epithets are what he’s really thinking.

Dear Lord.... It's like someone rented a big dozer and then a mini excavator to dig the small holes. I'm not sure what your charging but it's not enough with all the findings, I've watched the last few first prior to this original mistake pond..

what a mess! who the hell did this? they should never be allowed anywhere near any type of machinery again. not even a cordless drill. without a drill bit in it. i hope you doubled your fee for this job.

Does the "other guy" ever contact you?? Maybe a defense of his plan... maybe threats of violence?! Having a machine doesn't make you an operator.

I hope the owner didn’t pay the previous contractor with the mess he left. If he did that’s plain dumb. Just goes to show just because a person has a earthmoving business doesn’t mean he knows what he’s doing. Should always check and ask to show an example of finished previous jobs.

I woulda lost those mats in the mud 11 jobs ago. I'm amazed at the logistical chess game (not to mention bidding it) you have to work out at the start of a job like this; it undoubtedly looks different on the ground versus looking through a camera lens.

  • @mania002

How do you bid a job like this? Is there a PIA multiplier factored into the cost? I'm not looking for a specific number I'm just curious.

You know it's rained a lot recently when the mats go SPLAT instead of THUD when they hit the ground...

The refugee from Planned Parenthood had an unfortunate incident when on meth and couldn't get a burn permit to get rid of the cleared brush. Planning for him was obviously a challenge because of the issues given to him by the previously mentioned organization. Playing in the mud however was something he was born to do.......

I feel so so sorry for the owners of this place, and especially bad for the trees, who in the heck and in their right mind, doesn't understand that if you damage a trees roots enough, it will die?!
So many years of growing, it would have given good shade to the pond, cover and protection for fish and wildlife, it is so sad :(
Hope the owners get to sue the life out of this idiot, for the damage made and money lost!
He probably have made so much dumb stuff during his work on other places that he will be bankrupt for life!

The previous contractor was just a dirt mover and left a mess for somebody else to clean up.Push it here leave it there and move on.I know you can't say who the guy was even if you know but it would interesting to hear the land owner say who and give his opinion.Good luck fixing this mess.

You need to start calling these "guys" out. Senseless that people hire shady contractors to save a few bucks, only to have you fix it.
