It was this song and Nights on Broadway that made me start paying attention to the Bee Gees and they didn't disappoint. Hard to believe that Barry at 28 here and Robin/Mo both 25 had already had a career before this with a lot of really great songs. When you add what they did from here to the end of the 70s, their 80s period, and then finally their 90s/early 01', i think one can safely say they are indeed one of the most talented, diverse, and unique musical singer-songwriting groups ever. There from the beginning, it really takes one(especially myself) back over some really great times and experiences. So glad to see many new fans enjoying them still and also for the 1st time! Gotta love the actual singing here and playing so common back then, too! Fantastic live performance of an equally fantastic song. (Someone should have stopped Robin dancing on stage, though. :-))

It is good of their companies and them to allow us to mourn as we need to and to remember all the times with them as a group. I know for awhile they would take things off almost as fast as it was put on here. Personally I buy more after I can see these live performances. It is a shame musicians and record companies hate it when anything is shared without profit.

Saw these guys live a few times in Sydney. Once at the Opera House with an orchestra.
The sound was amazing. These guys were the real deal.

One of my favorite concerts of all time. 1979. MSG. Bee Gees first concert tour after SNF. Electronic lit stage just like in the movie. Me and four girls from Staten Island. Classic memory.

He sings it full voice life. No falsetto. It is so tough to sing with a falsetto live because it is soft and delicate. I dig this a lot. And I was anti disco but disco was just dance pop rock.

Maybe my fave BG song. Great to see it live from the year of its release! As time passes I appreciate “Midnight Special” more and more. One of the few live music shows in the ‘70s-at least in the U.S.
