Her voice has always been one of the best! As a 60 year old woman, I also cannot help all the natural beauty - Linda and the back up singers….no Botox, no breast implants, no freaky tattooed eyebrows…..just pure beauty, pure talent and sincere enjoyment of what they are doing.

Andrew Gold was a great songwriter and musician. His guitar playing was very under-rated. His solo on the Linda's original recording of "You're No Good" is sublime. And anyone who has followed Jeff Baxter's musical career knows that he was an excellent percussionist as well as a superb guitar player.
The irony of her looking back and saying she didn't even know how to sing back then. Meaning that she was untrained of course, her natural talent is astounding. And what a lineup up backing musicians ands singers!

Kenny Edwards who plays bass here, was also a member of the band, The Stone Poneys where Linda got her first hit as a singer with the Mike Nesmith song "Different Drum". Kenny was a founding member of that band. He played with Linda for many years.

Haven't seen this exact clip before, nut that was her then producer, Andrew Gold, on guitar and Kenny Edwards on bass. Linda was the best female vocalist ever in my book and laid the groundwork for concert female vocalists to follow, including Beyonce, Swift, Underwood, Nicks and more. Linda was selling out stadium concerts when male groups couldn't even manage that.
Skunk also played congas on Steely Dan’s first Midnight Special appearance in February 1973 as they performed Do It Again. Possibly their first national appearance on TV. Fagan was so racked with stage fright that the lead vocal was done by David Palmer. Skunk is one of the world’s great conga players. Pretty fair guitarist too.
In my opinion, Linda Ronstadt was one of the greatest female vocalists of ALL time. DAMN, that girl could belt it out!

Skunk also played congas on Steely Dan’s first Midnight Special appearance in February 1973 as they performed Do It Again. Possibly their first national appearance on TV. Fagan was so racked with stage fright that the lead vocal was done by David Palmer. Skunk is one of the world’s great conga players. Pretty fair guitarist too.
A great singer! I wish I could fire up the old time machine and go back to see her perform when I had the chance. Great voice, Lovely lady.
