The live version at Sonisphere is amazing
Saitama super arena is better version
Down with bullies and down with gatekeepers!! 🦊
_Kitsune tobe!_ 🦊🤘🙅♂️
Such an accurate song for these days seeing some comments by users trying to bullying or trolling around BM reactions or Kingslayer, they clearly don't know about this song and this message.
This was released officially early 2013, but it was previously performed live the year prior to this MV, technically is their second song in chronological order but apparently it was too much speed metal and without so much blending with the kawaii metal they were trying to show, so probably that's the reason they released Doki Doki Morning or Iine! instead.
The official MV got baby-bones air playing the instruments, and the beard man is representing the heavy metal music that was bullied by the mainstream music, and of course our three heroines come to rescue.
The live version at Sonisphere Festival 2014 is also known as the miracle of Sonisphere and is a turning point in their career they will never forget, after that they consider UK their second home, i don't remember if you reacted to that clip so if you didn't make sure to check it out.
Btw japanese fans jump with the X arms when they sing "Ijime Dame!" and later "Kitsune tobe!" that's another tribute to X Japan when fans did the same at X live concerts.
They played this song during this recent World Tour an an ender on certain special moment when finishing the Babyklok Tour in Los Angeles and more recently in Madrid closing the Europe & UK Tour adding one more song to the setlist.
Now you got left two or three more versions at least, IDZ Nemesis Version (with former Arch Enemy guitarist), the one at Budokan 2021 without YuiMetal but with the same energy, and Legend Metal Galaxy 2020 with both Kami Band on stage and all three avengers in an epic performance.
Oh i forgot, the guy in the MV got his own YT channel, his name is Kyle Patrick Gibson and he made a video talking about this participation, there's also a commentary vid made by the girls remembering this guy and how nice was with them talking, they were impressed with his japanese skills.
Thanks John for sharing this and hope to see you next Wednesday with something special for SuMetal birthday. Kitsune up! 🦊🤘❤
The message is very powerful. Their performance exceed the message, if that’s possible. Thank you Babymetal for spreading positivity throughout the world. ❤️🦊
Happy birthday SU-METAL 🎂😁🍾🎁😁
They do a cool commentary version of this video, really good to see how they felt filming it.
Great reaction, thanks!
"IDZ" is a really early work and it's funny listening to the studio version since Su-metal sounds very young here. Happy birthday to her, by the way! (Already December 20th in Japan). 🎂
Not the song has become something important. To the point I traveled around 650km (400 miles) to Madrid just for the possibility to have "IDZ" as an encore. It was totally worth it. 😁
🤘🦊
One of the strongest cornerstones in Babymetal's foundations. Andy Rethmeier published a video in which the girls talk about and comment on the filming of this clip...great !
I remember Su mentioned that this was first video where she didn't have a mic wgile singing and she didn't know what to do with her hand :D
Yeah I think Su was 14 when they released this video, idk about the time of the recording. She was just stupid good for that age!
Hi John! Have a safe & fun trip!
Damn, babymetal i not heard them for some time now but i remember first song that i heard from them called "gimme chocolate' it suckes me instantly with huge energyxD but my absolute favorite is 'megitsune'
If you haven't seen it yet, please react to the video below.
"BABYMETAL - Ijime,Dame,Zettai - Live at Sonisphere 2014,UK (OFFICIAL)"
Too bad you did not catch the Sonisphere 2014 version as it is THE single most important performance in their career according to Su herself. Still great vid and reaction. Note those beat up flying V’s were given out to fans.
Happy birthday Su−metal, my queen.🎉 You shoud check Sonisphere live version. History was changed then.
never seen the video for this song before. their new stuff needs more Kami/baby bones band! The girls' on guitar is EPIC! and so good to see BabyMetal overcome all the bullying and haters to be the most Epic metal band around.
great reaction🦊
No more Bullying forever🤘
Great reaction. My comment is being removed, thanks TH-cam bots. Never mind though, it looks like Rick Wagner already said everything I was trying to tell you.
Keep an eye open for the commentary videos the girls made for the first 5 music videos where they talked through their memories of making them ... they would make for 5 more great reactions.
👍👍An cool video with a great message!! I really enjoyed the video where the girls discuss the making of this MV. 🦊 👍❤
Plus 1 for those videos. They were gems.
I love them
It's a shame that not all of the songs from the first album are played live anymore, i'm lucky enough to have see them twice Live with the first album and Yui still on stage, sure the girls are matured in many ways but still the first album is epic, and no one can't say that the MV of it are more metal than many others of that time :D
As far i recall Moa and Yui don't know how to play the guitars but when Live with Halford they where very into it 😆
live version at Download is even better
🤘🦊🤘
Noooice! I love this music video. While the song’s definitely about anti-bullying, Babymetal took this MV even further to represent the oppression of metal by the corporate j-pop giants. Which fits perfectly with their lore of infiltrating the big bad idol scene and converting it to metal 🤣🤘🦊.
Also, I can’t wait until you get to react to Tokyo dome concert, specifically black night. This song was the show closer, and omg, was it THE most epic closer ever.
Plus, Su slips on stage at the end (not on Blu-ray) then immediately recovers, and proceeds to troll Moa haha 🤣👌
There was a bit of a gimmick I think but the difference to a gimmick act is that BabyMetal’s gimmick was built around the talent and not the talent built on the gimmick. If that makes sense?!

There is an alternate "Nemesis" version of this song, found on limited editions of the single.
It features guitars recorded by former Arch Enemy guitarist Christopher Amott.
Those burned guitars in the music video were signed by Su, Yui & Moa, mounted on stands and given to contest winners.
They're among the most prized BABYMETAL collectible items ever made, since there are only a handful of them.
'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' was one of the first songs they created.
It was ready to go, but they decided to release 'Doki Doki ☆ Morning' first since IDZ was closer to a conventional Metal song.
They really wanted to push the genre boundaries, even from the very beginning.
The dude in the 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' video represented "The Spirit of Heavy Metal". Oppressed by the forces of the pop music industry.
The actors name is Kyle Patrick Gibson, an American from California, who taught English in Japan as well as being a "foreign talento."
Moa has been learning guitar for several years, however let's just say that Yui and Moa are playing as much real guitar in this video as the guys in skeleton suits. : )
It was filmed in an old rock quarry, and apparently it was really cold.
Ooo I did not know about the timing there, good to know. They still recorded Doki Doki Morning (studio) first right? You were referring to MV?
@@Ganimal83 Both songs were already written, but they decided to record and produce a music video for 'Doki Doki ☆ Morning' first.
WOW! I never knew about the "Nemesis" version, so I just listened to it and the difference is VERY obvious! It's actually really good, but I'm too use to the original version.

Forgot about this video!
One of my top favorite outfits, it fits YUI perfectly ❤ she looks so pretty and utterly cute badass
😁😁😁😁🤘🤘🤘
Epic. ❤❤❤
The anti-bullying song
Imagine if Moa and Yui could actually play guitar like that? 😂😂
🤘🤘🤘🤘🦊🦊🦊🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Babymetal? say less SUBBED
Hope you do Headbanger live 1997 :p
How have you never done IDZ before? O_o
Not this music video or the recorded song but have heard it live which has been awesome!
The guitars are bigger than Yui and Moa 🤣 🤘🦊
q
More by BABYMETAL please
ONLY LIVE PERFORMANCE
Meh.
Wouldn't it be great if they really were playing those guitars
lol I would have died!!
@@JohnReavesLive Yui and Moa fake played it again on stage with Rob Halford while doing covers of Judas Priest songs 😉
Yo John, you should defo check out their commentary videos! ❤🤘🦊🔥
