Horseshoe lake trail was amazing last year! We played ring around the trees with a cow moose trying to get down to the lake for an early morning snack.
Again so beautiful. I am also in the 30% club. We saw a lot of moose while we were there and one that charged across the walkway while people were there. A little scary because they are so BIG!
Love this. We go to Alaska on Royal end of this month, but really excited to do one to Denali next year with Holland again. Can't wait to see the rest of your trip with Sophia ♥
Loving this series!! We were supposed to do an Alaskan cruise tour with Princess for our 20th wedding anniversary, but instead we had a surprise pregnancy... we didn't think we could have kids!! Anyway, now we have a 3 year old & have continued to save money to do the cruise when she gets a little older. Just curious how old Sophia is, & what age you think would be appropriate to take a child? I want my daughter to remember & enjoy it. Our original thought was when she's 10, but I'm starting to think MAYBE 7-8, just because I'm excited to do it!! Haha
I'm loving each of your Alaska trip video's with Sophia. Can't wait for the next one. I can't believe you did that 4 mile trail, i'd be dead! Question: Is that a real passport that you get stamped or is it something you can buy online?
It’s a “passport” stamp book specifically for the National Parks. Nothing official - just fun stamping your little book. They start at $13. Check online for options. Probably sold at the Parks, too. You’ll notice Alisa getting a stamp on a blank sticker (or slip of paper) in several of these videos.
I am LOVING your experiences and the scenery. My dream is to get to Katmai National Park and & Preserve. By the way, Denali National Park and & Preserve is 6.1 million acres (not square miles).

Best trip I have ever done… highly recommend it!
Sophia got Jason's love of wings! I'm loving your trip through Alaska, but can't wait to see you and Jason bac at sea!
Can't wait to do this next week! Thanks for doing the hike, now I know which one to do. Great job girls!
I love Alaska and all of its beauty! Great job on getting healthy! You’re doing fantastic 💪
Such amazing scenery. Beautiful job

So Happy to have found this series with your daughter. Great video. Now we want to do this all the stuff you did and stay at the same places Thank you
Its her granddaughter Sophia, not her daughter. It's her daughter Emily's daughter.

Alaska is beautiful. Great experience for your granddaughter

Fun Facts: Five states are smaller than the area of Denali’s NP + Land Preserve. The 6M+ acres = nearly 9400 sq miles.
Great video ❤❤❤❤
I love Alaska! ❤❤
Great content, thank you for sharing. I wonder if that squirrel had Rabies.
The higher the elevation the harder is for breathing. The air is "thinner" That's why if you bake, elevation matters
thanks for doing this! Love it so far! What is included that you have done? Bus tour? Extra? Food extra? Or is it all in package with HAL? thanks

I’m curious if you carry bear spray or anything with you on hikes in Alaska?
Is this a pre cruise tour?
I'm curious if there is a rest room…
They did stop on the way in and return. She referred to them as Well Toilets with a breeze underneath you.
This is going to sound so weird and maybe negative but I so miss when all your kids traveled with you during cruises
Just so you know Denali is 6 million square acres not 6 million square miles.
How old is your granddaughter?
I think she is 12.....
The USA is only 3.8 million square miles. So Denalli national park is not 6 million square miles. oops
