Though very different from your 'normal' videos, I did enjoy this one, too. Personally, I've always feared the lit parts of cities very much more on account of the predators found there, the human and unpredictable ones. So, I've been most comfortable far out in the unlit wilderness of Sweden and Norway, the only real danger being injuring yourself. As you see, the video got me thinking. Thanx.
Thanks E Smith, I’m the same and am very careful too about injury. On this hike for example the fallen logs in the creek were mossy and very slippery, and with the weight of the pack, my balance was off meaning I was very cautious. Weather too is extreme with flash flooding, even with the good forecast, I was not comfortable down in that cave. I’m glad you enjoyed the change in style 🙏
Wow that's quite something! I know the cave and have also spent hours in there shooting timelapse of the glow worms, a bit of a squeeze getting a pack in there as I remember getting my photography gear in and the constant thinking around what happens if it rains up in the catchment and the stream rises quickly!
Hi Bevan, thanks for watching, I was thinking the same, even knowing the forecast and having been following the weather for a week. There’s something very challenging about climbing down into a cave with a stream following you. The noise of the water echoing all around could be quite unnerving 😰😬
Congratulations Kiwi! We are so proud and happy for you hitting the 1000 subscribers milestone 👏👏👏
