- Solo camping in the snow in a hot tent.
Weather has suddenly changed from rain to heavy snow.
It was raining lightly when we arrived at the campsite.
The rain melted the snow, and it was very difficult to set up because our feet were buried in the snow.
After setting up safely, we grilled delicious steaks on the wood stove and went to bed.
By night, the rain had turned to snow.
The tent was very spacious and safe to sleep in.
When I woke up in the morning, I was surprised to see a lot of snow on the ceiling of my tent.
The weight of the snow bent the tent poles.
The snow shoveling went very smoothly.
After breakfast, we relaxed a bit and then took a nap.
When I woke up from my nap, the weather had changed to heavy snow.
There was quite a bit of snow around the tent.
We felt that if the snow continued to fall at this rate, the tents were in danger of being buried, so we began to take them down in a hurry.
We managed to complete the cleanup by sundown.
It was a camp where we learned about weather changes and the greatness of nature.

I watch videos like this for enjoyment. Then there is always some who feels compelled to criticize someone or something. In the scheme of the universe, does it really matter what kind of tent he has, or how done his steak is?
Okay I’m definitely not criticising here because I enjoy these kind of videos too, but that steak was a little raw in the middle lol
Right? Tents are so expensive these days so as long as he’s getting out there and doing what he likes to do, who cares? A lot of people like their steak like that, and somebody has to criticize someone else’s taste? Petty and nit-picking!

To be fair though, even I shrieked when I saw the cow still mooing as he sliced through it.

Палатка ⛺отличная, брезент не промокает, но будет внутренний конденсат, чтоб этого не было, надо сверху палатки целый полиэтилен натянуть и снегом присыпать низ палатки. Печь для такого размера палатки, должна быть не менее 60см*40см*40см чтоб при -40°-55° можно не щепками, а поленьями и чурками березовыми топить по 50см, высыпаться, готовить, греться в троем, пятяром, семьёй, с друзьями и пол должен быть утепленный непромокаемый. А так для одного даже в не сильные холода это изматывание 1-2-3 дня для одного. Успехов тебе брат, в нелегком деле борьбы за выживаемость, надо Вам соучастников экстремалов Таких же как Вы, не боящихся преодолевать трудности зимой.....🙏👏👍🤝✌👌!
Спасибо за совет. Конденсат на палатке был одной из моих проблем. Я также воспользуюсь вашим советом по поводу дровяных печей.

Русский бы столько не потащил и у строений не стал бы лагерем. Потому как шанс дождаться ночных гостей был бы крайне велик. А в России, как известно, в лесу самый страшный зверь - это человек.

I'm glad that I came across this video cause i wondered if i could have a wood stove in a regular tent in the winter.. This video answered my question... As long as i have what i need and where to place the wood stove it's smooth sailing... Thank you for your help and answering my question with this video 😊

Personally I think using a wood stove without a proper stove jack is extremely dangerous even with the heat shield in this set up. Then again I am cautious and only use a stove with polycotton or canvas tents.

The “work” is actually what some people find relaxing. This is what they mean by “being outdoorsy” lol.
You need a LOT of caloried to winter camp .. plan on 2 to 3 times as many calories as you consume normally and for safety plan on 4 times as many. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL!

Instrumentos para retirar la nieve depositada en la tienda , estufa interior de leña... Espectacular !!. Yo , a mis 60 inviernos , sigo acampando con lona , agujero en la nieve y piel de carnero. Buena lumbre , of course. Trabajando un poco , se retira nieve hasta ver el suelo y despejar la zona donde se va a dormir. Ese esfuerzo , mas el de la caminata con el equipo , por el bosque , hacen que la cena sea placentera. Ni que decir , en la nieve , unas birras o vino. Adisfrutaaaaar !!. CHEERS.

I guess that a large flat roofed tent and heavy wet snow don't mix too well. First time I seen someone pack up a wood stove with the coals still in it. 😉 Yummy steak.

Challenging conditions? Must have watched a different video. I saw a guy eating a steak in a tent. The only possible challenge was that the stove was too small for that tent (or the tent was to large for one person) and there was no opening for the stove exhaust forcing a less than good wood stove scenario. By the way, did he get that wood from a store? It was already strapped together so I'm guessing yes.
@@j-note3285 And? So he had a nice tent he set up in the snow and packed in his own wood. Most people haven't camped in the snow, let alone during a storm. I always try to give people encouragement when they push their personal limits. He looked like he was enjoying himself and took the time to share his adventure in inclement weather. Sorry all that triggered you.
