The stewards of ancient knowledge. I don't believe I've ever heard a better description of a granny witch in my life. People say they died and didn't pass their knowledge on. Truth is, it's a life calling that many can't do. It's impossible to 'make' somebody learn all of this. And, like modern doctors, it requires that you be on call 24/7 and keep up with your learning! The woods mountains are nature's teachers. I wish that we were better students. Thank you for a wonderful video on these amazing women who braved death themselves to save many a life. May God bless you and yours.

    I am a New Subscriber!!
My own Granny Witch , had been kind enough to pass on the Knowledge of the plants, our Living Earth , and also the Unseen.
She was able to calm our (Highly strung!!)dogs down by singing to them,
and taught me how to hear and listen to what the horses were saying,,,
~ and she showed me how the severe bits and the Curb Chain Hurts,
by putting a Bridle on my Shin and I never forget that Pain!!
Never Used the damned things on Any horse, neither Arab, Thoroughbred, Fell Pony or anything in between.
Sadly my Grandma has passed away too soon to teach me everything,
but she still comes to me in dreams.
We moved about a lot as a family we were traveller//Gypsy stock.
I'm living in the UK now, I feel like I'm home,~In the Reiver Country.❤

I come from such precious, priceless beginnings and consider myself to be blessed and wealthy beyond measure because of all I was taught by my Grandma in Tennessee, my Grandma in Georgia and my Mom. ❤

I had warts on my elbow and fingers. They would tear and bleed when i played rough. One day my great aunt came to visit and my granny told me to ask her about removing them. She told me to rub each one with a dried pea, bury it so deep it would never grow. I did what she said and in just a few days they all disappeared. I never believed or thought it would work, but i have no choice bc it happened to me. Thank you Aunt Dicey RIP!

This back in the day, was usually passed on from kinfolk to kinfolk. U needed to be grown up in the ,"teachings and beliefs". It can take lifetimes to become great at this unless your blessed. Like so many things, it is becoming like reading a book, writing a letter in cursive. Its all quite sad...
