Sorry Charley but just because it may have low production numbers of that trim package doesn't make it a "Collectors Item" and one of the biggest things is you have to have a buyer. Unless he's going to sit on it for about 20+ years and not drive it much it's not going to be worth much. Having anything that maybe worth something but if there are no buyers then it is worthless.
In the other video (when he was mad because his mom found this video on tiktok showing him being a con man) he called this car "brand new" (not just new to him, but "brand new").

I think he probably has to keep his prices competitive on the tow ( which I think is to cheap) but he can’t raise them if the others aren’t. The after hours he can add and if they treat them like shit he can Jack it up also.

I met one guy once who's car was towed so often that he started to just leave it at the tow yard. He would park it in the parking lot of a grocery store across from a college campus where he lived in the dorms. The grocery store was well known for towing multiple cars daily. I don't have any idea why he didn't just pay for a parking place -- it would have been a hell of a lot cheaper. I was at the tow yard one day when he came by to get his golf clubs out of the trunk of the car. He knew everyone there by name and they were on friendly terms!
I am glad you documented and included the license plate. This does sound bizarre. I would have him sign a copy of the receipt to prove he agreed to the price when a cash transaction, especially when a person says too many conflicting statements.

He really was probably more worried about the county finding out he left their keys in his unlocked car!! Glad they left this up. I enjoyed it all over again!!!
I worked at a body shop for 30 years and we would fix the right side they would look at left side and start pointing out dents and would say that wasn't there . We started showing the people the damage on there car win they dropped them off to cover us and we would take pictures of it too

That first one was rough hope no one was hurt, this happened to my kid last year in Maine in a snowstorm. Someone like you showed up to help. My son was not too banged up but his work asked him when he would be in. He bought a nice used Subaru and keeps the tires up to snuff and has no more trouble.
Lordy, this reminds me of a Christmas party, a gown, a tuxedo, valet parking, and a door handle ripped clean off of my 1988 Mustang GT. Left the party, valet held the drivers door open for me. I drove toward home, stopped for gas because I had work the next day. Reached for the door handle to get back in the car, and there wasn't one there. I hauled butt back to the restaurant and they tried to deny the damage. So I said "do i look like i climbed through the window to get here or climbed across the console and gear shift?" They still tried to deny damage, so as every guest left, I said "be sure to check for damage before you leave. They damaged my car and are trying to deny it." End result: they paid the total cost for replacing the door handle.
You’ll are smart videoing every tow you do! Gives you proof in court the condition of the vehicle before the tow! You’ll are always happy and polite! I have a short fuse and couldn’t put up with the rudeness of some of the people you encounter. Did you’ll charge extra for tree trimming,!?😂

I watch a lot of people losing their shit when they get arrested and stuff so I don't know if it came from that but I clicked one video and now I've been binging them for an hour or so. In so many professions it has become required to document and record the most basic of things. My phone is nearly full of pictures of packages by doors, usually with an address number in view. Less than a year is all it took for that habit to pay off!
taking a picture of package at a door means little to nothing now, you got videos of ppl that will drop it off take pictures then pick the package up and walk off with it. same with food orders.
35 feet down a slope! Quite a ride indeed. Airbags are a blessing. One recommendation I have for people coming to see us up here, get Rental Car Coverage on the vehicle you are driving! Something like soft shoulders here in east TN can ruin your whole vacation, and then how to get home🤔! We learned the hard way while visiting family in CA… an accident (not our fault) totaled our van. The rental was crazy to get us back home to east TN.
My '91 Mercedes is in better "MINT condition" than his car and I KNOW mine has character marks such as a few minor dings and scratches, just shows that the car has been used and enjoyed over the years. And yes I agree with you that had you NOT mentioned Kristen videoing each and every pickup that he would have continued and tried to get you to pay for existing damages. In my hometown GPS sent a 60 ton tractor trailer rig down a gravel road (back way into town) across a 5 ton limit 100+ year old bridge. Yeah, bridge and truck no more.

Considering the fact that modern cars can last up to 200,000 miles, 58K IS low mileage. A ten year old car can have 120K miles and be considered average.
I learned that lesson decades ago while in the service living in the barracks. Document EVERY SINGLE little blemish, ding, scratch, etc. Write it down.. had the barracks manager/supervisor witness it. Because when you signed out of that room.. they WILL go over it with a fine-toothed comb. If I didn't document faults, I would have to pay for the fix. And when you are making well below minimum wage... it takes years to pay it off. Plus, there's a red flag tagged to your records.

My 2015 Nissan Frontier could be considered low miles, since it only has 86K miles (average miles for an 8 year old pickup would be 96K)

That first one was rough hope no one was hurt, this happened to my kid last year in Maine in a snowstorm. Someone like you showed up to help. My son was not too banged up but his work asked him when he would be in. He bought a nice used Subaru and keeps the tires up to snuff and has no more trouble.

Lordy, this reminds me of a Christmas party, a gown, a tuxedo, valet parking, and a door handle ripped clean off of my 1988 Mustang GT. Left the party, valet held the drivers door open for me. I drove toward home, stopped for gas because I had work the next day. Reached for the door handle to get back in the car, and there wasn't one there. I hauled butt back to the restaurant and they tried to deny the damage. So I said "do i look like i climbed through the window to get here or climbed across the console and gear shift?" They still tried to deny damage, so as every guest left, I said "be sure to check for damage before you leave. They damaged my car and are trying to deny it." End result: they paid the total cost for replacing the door handle.

I don't know how these videos ended up in my feed. I watch a lot of people losing their shit when they get arrested and stuff so I don't know if it came from that but I clicked one video and now I've been binging them for an hour or so. Definitely subbed!! Never knew I would enjoy seeing people get their cars towed!! I wish companies had enough time and man power to tow all the lazy losers that park in the fire lane at stores because they are too damn lazy to walk from a parking spot. Drives me insane!!!!
In so many professions it has become required to document and record the most basic of things. My phone is nearly full of pictures of packages by doors, usually with an address number in view. Less than a year is all it took for that habit to pay off!
taking a picture of package at a door means little to nothing now, you got videos of ppl that will drop it off take pictures then pick the package up and walk off with it. same with food orders.

My '91 Mercedes is in better "MINT condition" than his car and I KNOW mine has character marks such as a few minor dings and scratches, just shows that the car has been used and enjoyed over the years. And yes I agree with you that had you NOT mentioned Kristen videoing each and every pickup that he would have continued and tried to get you to pay for existing damages. Oh, and if it has a roof leak, it's not mint

Considering the fact that modern cars can last up to 200,000 miles, 58K IS low mileage.
A ten year old car can have 120K miles and be considered average.
(Unless, of course, that Malibu is less than 5 years old)

I learned that lesson decades ago while in the service living in the barracks.
Document EVERY SINGLE little blemish, ding, scratch, etc. Write it down.. had the barracks manager/supervisor witness it. Because when you signed out of that room.. they WILL go over it with a fine-toothed comb. If I didn't document faults, I would have to pay for the fix.
And when you are making well below minimum wage... it takes years to pay it off. Plus, there's a red flag tagged to your records.
