- In this video, I share my picks for the best NHL jerseys of the Adidas era. Adidas will cease manufacturing jerseys at the end of the 2023-24 season (Fanatics will take over), so I thought it would be fun to revisit the greatest designs across several categories - best home jersey, best away, alternate, Winter Classic, Stadium Series, Reverse Retro 1 and 2, and Best in Show. The Adidas era is going to be looked at so fondly by fans in the future, I'm gonna miss it
In my opinion, the Columbus blue jackets alternate was one of the better/best ones from the adidas era. Very underrated
One day, when the planets align and the shadows fade from Middle Earth, we will be treated to a cream-based version.

Easily one of the best jerseys in the game. It should be their home and away set. I personally hate their regular home and away set haha.
The blasty jersey to me is a great example of a design that wasn’t received well originally, that eventually grew on a lot of fans and made them change their opinion on the design all together same with the kachina jersey
Totally. Heck, I think we can say the same thing with the Fisherman. Time will tell with the Burger King 🤣
@@TwistedWristerHockey I’d argue that the Burger King jersey has already ascended to the “so ugly it’s beautiful” tier along with the wild wing and Flying V jerseys
@@Justin_Coughlin Oh yeah, those are in a different stratosphere of ugly. We can't quite say the same of the Islanders basketball jersey or the Turd Burger...but maybe someday we will 😂

This was such a good era of jerseys and they kept coming out with so much good jerseys sucks it’s coming to an end

Dude I love that 2018 Maple Leafs Stadium Series. One of my favorites in Adidas
The white logo almost takes on a totally different identity when against a white backdrop, and it works great!
Oilers reverse retros were beautiful, the covid division reverse retros were my favourite
I'm a Rangers fan but I'll always say the Blackhawks jerseys are the gold standard. They're beautiful.
And thankfully they fixed the collar from their first run. The 2019 Winter Classic jersey was a unique look for them, too.
And as a Blackhawks fan I’ll compliment your reverse retros! The lady Liberty is perfect to represent the rangers and I hope they continue that look in the future.

I think the most important takeaway here is bright orange and neon green, these bright colors work amazing as an accent color rather than a primary color
I’ve got a McDavid of that same away oilers jersey. Super clean and cool design imo, and my fav overall adidas is my authentic Patrick Kane Chicago home jersey, quality is on point
People started not liking outside of Dallas but as soon as I go to a Stars game I see the black and neon jersey worn more than the actual green jersey or white 😅
I think that's a sign they need to find a new design for the typical Victory Green. I don't mind it whatsoever, but the star shaped jerseys from the 90s-00s set the bar pretty high imo.

My favorite would have to be Winnipeg's 2nd reverse retro
Love me the Vancouver Canucks reverse retro 2.0 sweater. The striping, the off white, Johnny canuck. It all works and screams old school, that sweater along with the current skate one i'm looking to add to my collection.
I think the Sabres' Black and Red Goathead jerseys were so sick. I can't believe they didn't get mentioned.
I love the goathead, have a Starter replica myself. I was focusing on new designs or reworked designs that stood out enough from their original versions (i.e. Canucks skate alternate), so that's why I didn't include it here.
didnt have the legit best panthers jersey from the era witch was there 22 black history month jersey it go so fucking hard and looks so cool
Controversial opinion: teams should keep innovating designs and try new things. They can always use the old designs for throwback nights or special events, but sticking with a design because it's the way it's always been is kinda boring. I'm a Bruins fan, and I love the "B", but I'm also a fan of trying different stuff, too.
The blues jerseys have been very good and it some of the best jerseys in the league.
I will die on the hill that the Preds 2022 SS Smashville jersey was the best fitting jerseys for the theme of the Stadium Series. The Hatch Show Print style type faces used in the crest, names, and numbers is so much fun. Especially since every name and number combo has its own character

I’m a Boston fan but I had to agree the habs 1.0 was good but the bruins 2.0 is my favorite and you picked the worst 2.0 I’m not talking about the jersey I’m talking about the fact that they don’t have a panther on the jersey I do agree with the others but for 2.0 it should be Capitals, Wild, then bruins.

IMO the Flames unis are nice but overrated (the new ones they went to IDK they've always been meh to me and I actually prefer the old road white and the old home Adidas one over the heritage turned road jersey and the old school home) but the rest of them are money.
I still can't pick a team to follow loyally ha.
Best in show: The Golden Knights. Their gold jerseys might be the worst in the entire NHL, but the OG grey is fantastic. The road whites are good. The first alternate they had (retro 1.0), the red jersey featuring the secondary logo was great. Their secondary logo might be the best in the NHL. Their newest winter classic is amazing in person, the colors aren't done justice on TV or on a computer screen. And the reverse retro 2.0 is great too, with a very "Vegas" font. If we are just talking classic NHL jerseys, I love the classic original 6 Blackhawks uniforms, just classic NHL personified. All that said, the Vegas uniform lineup is great.
My favorite top jerseys are Anaheims reverse jerseys, Carolina heritage (wailers) jerseys
La’s grey third jersey , Minnesota winter classic, Rangers winter classic , Ottawa’s old home jersey
And St. Louis 90’s throwback jersey
Maybe it’s cuz im biased but I enjoyed the fisherman jersey we got for reverse retro 2.0 it’s not the exact fisherman from 1995 but I enjoyed it quite a bit. Seeing it on the ice was honestly something I never thought would happen
I'm surprised you like that Stars jersey so much. It's one of my least favorites. The Capitals screwed up copying the first Reverse Retro. We already got it in red. So there's no need for the black. The capital dome should have been the obvious choice instead of the black screaming eagle.
like the Flames jerseys. I have the 2019 heritage classic one and just ordered the germany style jersey. Also working on getting the blasty jersey

Devils alternate is amazing once you get a name and numbers on it as the shadowed red numbers look the best in the league tbh. Just the front is underwhelming.

My favorite site to buy blank Adidas jerseys from is SportsK; just $2 shipping if you're in the States. HockeyAuthentic doesn't run deals all that frequently but does a great job with customization. CoolHockey runs a good amount of sales and also customizes jerseys (I generally like their service for that). BenHsports on ebay is another great outlet for blank jerseys. Fanatics always has a sale, but I try to support the smaller shops.

While Vegas original home was a good jersey, it was in no way the best. I would put both the Wild and Avalanche above that one.

I thought it was pretty obvious that the top two best alternates was Columbus cannon and the avs.😂
Also avs rr 1.0 and kings rr 1.0 are the top 2, interchangeable.

Seattle went full re re and lost out on a good fanbase based solely on the name of their arena. The logo and name make no sense either. Had they named the team after their abundant rainfall or forrest, i could see that. 🤷 too bad they couldn't avoid the "identity politics "
