Dear Aaron as a chemist and scientist in perfumery, could you please mention the maceration process and how long should it take, and what does it do to the fragrance?! Thank you. Learning a lot from you.
I'd also be very interested in this! Also if there's any components that actual react. Or maybe, if you could use a sonicator to accelerate the maceration process.
Tried No.10 at Dillards and it stayed on my skin for two days. A hyper woody, sparkly sillage/projection fragrance. Definitely fills a room/dept store and lingers. I would keep the sprays below the chest. Great outdoor fragrance!
I am so glad to see this review. I think this is such an underrated perfume. My forever perfume is Tubéreuse criminelle et my go to were Sarrazin and jardin blanc, in a nutshell I am a White flower kind of girl. I looked for years for something radically different and didn’t find a coup de coeur. I thought I found it with baccarat rouge and bought a travel size. But I could not wear it on me I thought it was too sweet. It was ok on scarves though. Then one day two years ago I walk into Bloomingdale’s and a sales lady offers swatches. I was on holidays so why not, I had never heard of this house. I tried a few and when I smelled no4 it was instant love. What I had liked in baccarat rouge was there but the (to me) sickening sweetness wasn’t there. I hadn’t been this excited by a perfume since tubéreuse criminelle and I had looked hard. I didn’t buy it then thinking because I wanted to wear it on myself first. But it was my last day and I couldn’t come back to buy it. I thought it would be easy to find it in Europe where I live, which it wasn’t and I was obsessed into finding it. Turns out that either you buy it online or at Harrods. A few months later i managed to buy it in Harrods and my love affair with this perfume is still so strong that even in the evening when I would normally switch to tubéreuse criminelle my femme fatale perfume I can’t let go of no4. There is something special about this scent (I have an instinct for special things in general) which goes beyond personal taste. So again very happy to watch your review and I had going to subscribe to your channel this moment!
Just smelled this today and man this thing is delicious....I love the layers and the dry down and it appears to last a long time on my skin...will be my signature scent of the many that I have...i was wearing Lovers by LV today so as the breeze blows, I would get hints of Lovers and of this and it makes me smile
@krizaey8782 they both are really long lasting, but I personally go nose blind to them throughout the day. First time I sampled them, I could still smell them the next morning
So funny you mention Megamare, I just smelled the cap of a sample of Al'A and I immediately thought of Megamare. I had to pull out the flask and and compare. Yes, there are similarities!
Totally agree with you on this 8 bought it 3 years ago and was about to sell it then one day I came home and all I could smell was this beautiful perfume filling my while house turns out my girl had sprayed it on herself about 8 times and boy oh boy that's when I realise this is a beast I ended up buying a second bottle anytime I where this women go crazy even though I can barely smell it I mainly wear it in the summer even though everyone says it's a winter scent
I really want to hear your thoughts on the Alexandria Hafez 1984. Till date that is one of the very few fragrances that lasts and radiates on my skin. Please do a review on that one, it's available in 35ml.
I'm waiting for your review of "Followed" by Kerosene. I saw your review of "Follow" but I've heard "Followed" brings beastly to another level. Some people have said they sprayed it on their jacket and 6 months later and two times to the dry cleaners they can still smell it.
Aaron ...my favorite perfumer use to be Alberto morillas....that was until I started watching you and until one day I had the privilege of smelling one of your creations...my mind was just blown!!!.Im in recovery and I recently got back up on my feet from being homeless ..so I currently can't afford some of your creations....but I know I will soon and I'm exited and looking forward to it.. perfumery has helped me so much in my recovery...and I made it a thing of mine .. .that all thr money i use to blow on my addiction is gona go to my fragrance collection...so my collection is gona represent what i use to waste but put into good use
Hey Aaron i just bought fil d'or No 1 from Laurent Mazzone and would love if you could make a review on it. This fragrance is right up your alley. PACKED with power.
I would like to see you test the flankers to this which are No 4 Sport, and No 4 Neon. I skipped this one for the other two which I quite enjoy. Safe flight, Aaron!
This has the potential to cause olfactive fatigue to a majority of people. It is a strong attention grabber and has a mature vibe to the BR540 DNA. There is a MADE in England and Made in France batch but both are the same despite the speculations.
This fragrance is a monster. Its so strong you instantly become nose blind. I sprayed about 30 sprays because i couldn't smell it at all yet people told me they could from 20 feet. that the scent was thick and following me from far away. They said it smelled like i used too much but told me it was beautiful and asked if i was looking for a girlfriend
@@MrDusteybowls 20 sprays??? you gotta be freaking lying. 2 long sprays from the pressured atomizer and someone from 15 feet away yelled to ask what I was wearing. 20 sprays would be nuclear warfare.
Try Bath & Body Works Vanille Noire very similar scent profile to star chaser which smells like sculpture to me. And Exsupero has slight similarities to the new sauvage (pool water???) At least that's what I get
TK4 EdP is one of my favorite and if not my current favorite in my small collection. Haven't tried the elixir and I've heard that they smell different.
Hi Aaron, do the flakes break down in the alcohol? Or do you have to dissolve it another way?isn't Ambergris in its pure form very expensive? Thanks for the information!
Funny you say this. When I was telling sales attendants that I like baccarat rouge almost but not quite I was suggested to try the labo 13 and I did but they didn’t like it too much and the comparison doesn’t stand for me to either baccarat or Labo. At least to my nose
This one was a bit too strong for my nose, but ended up getting Super Amber (No. 11) instead. For the cooler months, it's very nice. Slightly balsamic, dry woods, and soft musk with a hint of incense. I also enjoy layering it with something like Bvlgari Au The Blanc in rainy spring months --the balance is just so elegant.
Aaron, can i have a question about your parfume, Supernova in particular? since the bottle cannot be shine through, how do i know how much is left in the bottle? can you share perhaps the empty bottle's weight with or without cap? at least then i'd have some clue about the leftover quantity in the bottle :)
🤣 yo this one is monstrous. I felt the same as you so I did 30 sprays. No 10 smells absolutely fantastic. I love it and the longevity it has.
Which one is better in terms of scent and longevity, No. 10 or No. 4?

I love this house, such a gem
Aaron, give Thomas Kosmala No.9 Bukhoor. I found it to be quite unique. Funky Oud with Vanilla like notes.

Watch the perfume guy review on it, he says it’s his most beast mode fragrance in his collection
I really dislike it smelled like old pancakes.😊
That's because it contains the strongest scent chemical called furanone. It's derived from fenugreek
Who makes this bottle. It is everywhere. So many brands use it
He has 3 or 4 new releases two of which smells amazing. Oddly bath and body works has Vanilla Noir that shares the same scent profile.
I like his reviewing style and how he digresses talking about particle inside and filtering but at the end that’s for the love of his job 😂
Would be great to hear Aaron's thoughts on the new Black Laquer from Tom Ford.

hey aaron can you please review the new Azzaro Most Wanted EDT Intense?
My perfume bottles are all full of particulates..... Main reason, I have those bottom-filling travel spray bottles.
I had 2 black hairs swimming in my Bois imperial by essential parfums bottle... Never again. That was disgusting
Compare it to Xerjoff Torino22 & Electimuss Trajan
It’s more earthy than both those. Trajan is more fresh and citrusy all 3 last same on me.
This one is very ambroxan heavy. Gotta scrub it off reallt good.
Respectfully, you didn't really describe the aroma or scent of the perfume 🤷♂️

Not through the base this time.
