- Solaria LITE released literally the day after this game came out, so I think it was meant to be lol. Literally any other synthv voicebank would not have sounded right imo
This song really took me by surprise. I never expected a Kirby game to have a main theme with lyrics! It's a lovely song, too, so I knew as soon as I heard it I was gonna make a cover of it.
I tried my best to make the english lyrics fit, because they don't match up 100% with the original made-up language's syllable count.

This has been one of the fastest-growing videos on my channel. Thank you! I can't help but wonder if some people might be confused or curious about the vocals used here, since I think this video may be beginning to wander out of its usual circle.
The software used here is called Synthesizer V. If you're at all familiar with Vocaloid (or by extension, Hatsune Miku) that's essentially the same concept, but the technology for it has rapidly improved over the last few years. There are voicebanks available for it in English, Japanese, and Chinese.
In simplified terms, this voice is essentially a real person's voice recordings that can be rearranged in any desired way. This voicebank, SOLARIA, was created from voice recordings of Emma Rowley. Additionally, the software can manipulate the voice automatically with neural network (AI learning) techniques. This results in a very realistic-sounding voice (though the neural network waveform generation isn't perfect and usually requires manual tuning).
Vocal synthesis has been around for quite some time. I don't think you'll ever have to worry about synthesized voices replacing humans, though. I see vocal synthesizers as just being another medium for song creation, and the amount of creativity it breeds is astounding.
Vocal synths are something I'm passionate about, so I'm glad this is reaching outside of its normal audience so I can introduce it to new people. If you are interested in this at all, the versions of the software and voicebank I used in this video are the free versions. Synthesizer V Studio Basic is the free version of the software, and many voicebanks have a "LITE" variant that is free for personal use. I highly recommend you give it a try!

I can say with confidence, that this is the best cover of "Welcome to the New World" I've heard so far. You nailed the timing of the "Fresh Spring Breeze" part and the latter verse perfectly!

I noticed a few things listening to this song...
-A few times it mentions a spring breeze. The ancients leaving this world and entering dreamland.....didn't kirby canonically enter dreamland on a spring breeze?
-"Along the way, stuff your belly and nap a while" hmm that sounds familiar...
- "Face your fears, you'll hunger for more." definitely describes facing every kirby final boss lol
-"Hearts full of love!" wasn't the last mainline game entirely based on friendship hearts?

You see The secret final boss of star allies was void. It is basically the origin of all life. Whenever it comes across good/bad energy it reincarnates itself. Kirby is the good reincarnation of void.

2:22 - 2:25, I was reading the lyrics and didn't notice the game footage behind the player visuals until this moment, and the close up of Kirby's face with the "Laughing loud" lyrics actually broke me and I got tears in my eyes...in the best of ways.

For surprising matters the song Welcome to the New World of the Kirby and the Forgotten Land is great and inspirational and this song is definitely about the ways and power of friendship and Kirby is also about the power of friendship. Kirby has won the heart of everybody and people around him and he made it all possible. In the game Kirby Star Allies the hero Kirby wins the heart of everybody and has a golden statue of him and his friends and everyone loves Kirby and he's able to make friends and turn enemies into friends with friend hearts and he's shaped like a friend. Then in the game Kirby and the Forgotten Land the hero Kirby is back in the flesh. Kirby enters a mysterious new world he makes new friends and he saves the mysterious new world and he turns the enemies called the Beast Pack into friends and he wins the heart of everybody. The song Welcome to the New World is amazing and friendship, compassion, and love lives on forever.💛🧡❤️
The song Welcome to the New World would also be a great and fitting song for the heroine Luz Noceda of Disney's Owl House cartoon series and she's kinda like Kirby and Luz Noceda has made friends, turned enemies into friends, she has the heart of a friend, and she has won the heart of everybody in the Boiling Isle realm and she made it all possible.
This song would’ve definitely helped a few years ago when I first moved across the country from Pennsylvania to Washington. Better late than never.

There are of course parts of the melody that I hotly disagree with but this is a wonderful cover nonetheless!! Been wondering what this song would sound like in English, and I'm really proud and fascinated by some of the choices you've made. A lot of the decisions were so much better than my own even!! I would love to see more like this from you... do you think you'll consider doing say... Green Tree Memories? It does have an official English version... but the singer was a Japanese native so it wasn't really able to truly shine at the time.

I didn't actually know it was a computer voice until I read the description. Now I'm kinda creeped out and worried by how real it sounds.
It sounds that real because it was made with a human voice. As the uploader mentions, the voicebank was made with recordings of a human voice. That's what Vocaloids and the voicebanks of Synthesizer V are. You shouldn't be creeped out, you should be impressed at how far technology has come.

But for some reason I can never like things as much as I like the original. It's been like this for as long as I can remember. I commonly see comments saying "it's better than the original" and I would like to make a comment like that too but, I can't. I just really love originals for some reason.
I like the original a lot, too! If I didn't, I wouldn't have made a cover of it.
No matter what, the original will always stick out in my mind more because how I was surprised with it in the opening. I had already played the demo, which had the first few levels in it, but that had completely omitted the music sequence that's present in the full game. So while I thought I had already seen the beginning of the game, it goes and throws a curveball at me with a lovely song I wasn't expecting! So, while I'm happy with how my cover turned out, the original will always give me the warm fuzzies.
@@LunaryHues I played the demo and loved it, so I couldn't wait for the full release! And when I was playing the full game, I wasn't expecting the song either. (Though, I couldn't hear it that well sense I had turned the sound way down sense it was like 6:30am. So I had to go back to the cinema to watch it again) Another thing I like about the song is that it's like half Japanese and half gibberish/ the forgotten language.
