The vocals are amazing, Taranza’s voice is smooth while Sectonia’s is powerful and elegant.. perfectly fitting! Kirby fans will find this cover DELICIOUS

Back when I was in Middle School, I used to listen to the songs with my 3DS closed and do other tasks or fall asleep to the songs. These two Sectonia boss themes, the main boss theme, the circus theme, the world 6 level theme(hope that one gets a lyrical song in the future), the Nutty Noon theme from RtD, the 100% completion theme, the Looming Darkness theme also from RtD, the Keychain collection theme, and many other songs from Triple Deluxe. I still have that copy of Triple Deluxe from back in 2014.

There was a voice calling out to me, but I cannot hear it anymore. Before dawn breaks, bring me... eternal sleep... " Always has been my favorite part of the lore of Triple Deluxe.
Taranza’s lyrics perfect describe how he didn’t mean for the mirror to corrupt his friend sectionia and how bad he feels for it as he grieves about it meanwhile sectonia is singing like a crazed tyrant obsessed with themselves

Yeah, all of Kirby’s other villains turned friends got their happy endings (well other than Susie, but even then she seems to have mostly moved on from haltman’s death by now), why can’t Taranza have his happy ending already ;-;

If I had a nickel for how many times Nintendo characters accidentally gifted an eldritch mirror to their lovers only for them to be twisted into horrific monsters... I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
The fact that this is actually one of the few Kirby villains that Kirby had no chance at redeeming is always something that gets me here. Regardless of taranza’s feelings here which typically in these stories would mean that everything would be ok and have a happy ending, Kirby doesn’t have the option to bring the original sectonia back. All he can do is mercy kill the husk she became
The sad thing about the title. Moonstruck means unable to think clearly, often because of love. Taranza was moonstruck while doing her bidding, hoping she would return to herself. Now Sectonia can't think straight because of the gift he gave her.

I think the saddest part is after mirror mirror on the wall part the line she speaks after is basically her last words sane, her final cry to put her out of her pain and telling teranza she forgives him and to not sulk for her. To live his life without guilt.
moonstruck blossom is one of my favorite songs in this entire franchise and yeah i get what you mean i was elated when it came out but now im really starting to appreciate every detail they crammed into this im addicted to singing taranzas parts

I think the golden Dimension Mirror is a cautionary tale.😥 Despite the immense beauty of its outward appearance, beneath the surface of this mirror lies an ugly, corrupted, and terrifying evil. It once housed Dark Mind and Dark Meta Knight, twisted versions of past characters with Dark Mind being a fusion of Nightmare Wizard and Zero. When Taranza gifted the mirror to Sectonia, he had no idea of its true nature until it was too late and Sectonia became a reflection of the Dimension Mirror itself, a shallow, beautiful exterior that concealed something truly terrifying.

But a reflection of (probably) Dark matter swordman (so the first we see) given it’s a complete opposite of a sword user, magic. And they both have a human like form and then become a ball with a big eye Dark matter that posses, dark mind corrupts the mind, the spirit Dark meta knight being the possible host of the remaining energy and powers that dark mind has
“Your world is a pitiful husk, and I, the embalmer!” “Behold the beauteous art of the flower. / Scream to the night as your worlds I devour!” This whole cover was great, but those two (three?) lines from Sectonia were especially good. A perfect way to capture her descent into madness and to portray the intensity of that final phase!
Wow. Those were some of the strongest vocals I’ve heard on the channel. The contrast of Kyle’s calmer Taranza voice with Ostara’s crazed and obsessed Sectonia all backed to one of the best combinations of final boss tracks in the Kirby series was all superb. Now my heart yearns for something like this for Planet Robobot given its crazy finale. But for now, bravo!
This song is really amazing it really shows Taranza’s sadness about Sectonia. While Sectonia at first is more elegant until she fell into insanity thanks to the dimensional mirror.
NO WAY!!! AND SOUL OF SECTONIA TOO?! I was expecting Meta Knight's Revenge, you REALLY didn't need to drop such a beautiful bomb on us. Kyle Wright and OstaraVA portray Taranza and Sectonia. I love how the lyrics explain their story in a subtle way and love how the lyrics feel Shakespeare adjacent it fits really well with the whole Romeo and Juliet thing. I love that Sectonia never realises she's gone insane like other takes I've seen on this song, it's genuinely chilling having Taranza realise the person she used to be is completely gone and death is her only chance at peace now. Also, Taranza being the one singing during the vocal parts of the song is actually kinda genuine ngl. Also, also, 1:39 IS HE SINING THE MELODY OF THE GUITAR SOLO OF THE GAMETAL REMIX, OH MY GOD!!!!!
There's so many things I adore about this (Sectonia and Taranza's INCREDIBLE vocal performances, the art, the clever references in the lyrics that fit so well), but the line that stuck out to me the most was "here beneath the moon and stars lies the one I adored, now reduced to an animal screaming" Like oh my god, that is such a perfectly GUT-WRENCHING way to phrase what happened to Sectonia. The old her is effectively dead and gone, morphed into a beautiful caricature of a "perfect" ruler, and then into, well… a screaming animal. Plant-animal(?) hybrid, but details. You guys knocked this out of the park!

I am legit blown away. Really blown away! Given Triple Deluxe has some of my favorite soundtrack in the series, no one has ever set such a high bar on this game's final battle, but you, Kyle, and Ostara broke that barrier beyond repair! This goes hard and has no reason not to! Amazing job!
I love the opening to this. I interpret it as Sectonia (the real one hidden deep inside, not consumed by vanity) singing about her unfortunate fate before getting taken over by the aggressive husk that now controls her and will fight to her final breath. Moonstruck and World to Win (yes I know this is specifically Soul of Sectonia) are some of my favourite songs in the franchise so hearing Sectonia and Taranza sing beautifully is exactly what I wanted/needed.
Gosh this song is such an emotional punch to the gut. Taranza just wanted to do something nice and it backfired it the worst most horrid way possible. Him accepting that the one he loved is gone and needs to be put out of her misery just makes this emotional fight all the more somber now I think about it. It's not just a fight to save Popstar and the land above but to also put a corrupted soul to rest.

This was one I'd hoped you would do because these are my two favorite Kirby characters, especially Taranza when you take into account his full story.(Team Kirby Clash Deluxe is now the canon sequel to this game) This is perfect. The calm but mournful Taranza, contrasting with Sectonia's crazed voice and desire of control, all while slipping nods to hard mode lore, including the "Taranza's cries can no longer reach her" and the term "Eternal Sleep." So perfect, can't wait to see what's next.

I cant stress how good this song is, after begging both moti and juno to cover it for years, this made it all worth it and decimated my expectations, both june and Alex did so good with the lyrics, making every line feel poetic and beautiful, and whoever wrote the "friendship turned to grief no relief holding onto belief beyond reason" and "forget forgive go on and live forever ill be berift" is better than Disney at musical style song writing, also nobody got name dropped!(Im weird, when any name is said it kills the mood for me, like in zero lab when they say pokemon). Also the references! The gametal solo especially is so good! The voicing is so good as well, Ostara has an infinite vocal range, and Kyle has the same kind of beautiful voice as Steel, which is insane, and i cant tell which i like better

Sometimes less is more but every lyric adds beautifully to this narrative. Funny story time: i once had a two month grudge against the kirby franshise (spent too much storage on kirby tabs and downloaded photos, it crashed my whole ass device) but then I felt like listening to M.B and that washed away pretty quickly XD
“Hoping for a miracle beyond reason” just shows how desperate Taranza is after all of this. He doesn’t care if the ability to bring her back is impossible or could risk his life. All he wants is to see Joronia again

I was discussing Taranza with my friend last night. And everything about him just makes me sad, like i've sat here and been moved to tears because of a spider who misses his friend. He stole the Dimension Mirror somehow for his friend as a gift. It slowly corrupted her heart and soul, and the whole time he stuck by her side doing her bidding. Not because he's evil, but because he thought she was still the same friend he had always known, and was only awoken to the fact she was no longer herself when she blasted him into the distance. I cant even begin to imagine if we saw more of him during a little behind the scenes part of TD being him at war with himself. Continue to defend his now lost friend, or help Kirby put her to her eternal rest. Its depressing when you realize he understood the best thing for her was to put her down. I didnt want this man, i just wanted to kill eldritch abominations, not see a man go through the worst emotional trauma of his whole life.

You don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for a proper lyrical cover of Triple deluxe’s music. The one from Internet remix all those years ago was just what I wanted, but didn’t feel as ambitious or lore accurate as I wanted it to be. This however is a huge improvement to that and I love it! I hope more songs from the 3DS kirby games get the same treatment in the future❤

Sectonia is up there with the most Tragic Video game villains. What's even worse is it's implied that, like Magalor, she's held prisoner in her mind, forced to watch the atrocious actions she commits, but unlike Magalor, there's no way to bring her back. The only thing that can be done is to fulfill her requests, and end her suffering. Remember when Kirby started out with a fat egocentric penguin who stole everyone's food?

I was taken aback by Kyle’s and Ostara’s performances; they both did incredibly in this already dynamic piece. One thing I’ll say is that the correctly translated name of the song is Fatal Blooms in Moonlight. It’s not a huge deal; mistranslations and name changes happen to lots of Kirby songs. Regardless, this song and performances are astounding! Amazing work; can’t wait to see what Kirby songs come next!

Back when I was in Middle School, I used to listen to the songs with my 3DS closed and do other tasks or fall asleep to the songs. These two Sectonia boss themes, the main boss theme, the circus theme, the world 6 level theme(hope that one gets a lyrical song in the future), the Nutty Noon theme from RtD, the 100% completion theme, the Looming Darkness theme also from RtD, the Keychain collection theme, and many other songs from Triple Deluxe. I still have that copy of Triple Deluxe from back in 2014.

You know, sometimes I wonder if there was something that Kirby could have done to uncorrupt Sectonia.
If I had a nickel for how many times Nintendo characters accidentally gifted an eldritch mirror to their lovers only for them to be twisted into horrific monsters... I'd have two nickels.

The fact that this is actually one of the few Kirby villains that Kirby had no chance at redeeming is always something that gets me here. Regardless of taranza’s feelings here which typically in these stories would mean that everything would be ok and have a happy ending, Kirby doesn’t have the option to bring the original sectonia back. All he can do is mercy kill the husk she became
The sad thing about the title. Moonstruck means unable to think clearly, often because of love.
Taranza was moonstruck while doing her bidding, hoping she would return to herself.
Now Sectonia can't think straight because of the gift he gave her.

I think the golden Dimension Mirror is a cautionary tale.😥 Despite the immense beauty of its outward appearance, beneath the surface of this mirror lies an ugly, corrupted, and terrifying evil. It once housed Dark Mind and Dark Meta Knight, twisted versions of past characters with Dark Mind being a fusion of Nightmare Wizard and Zero. When Taranza gifted the mirror to Sectonia, he had no idea of its true nature until it was too late and Sectonia became a reflection of the Dimension Mirror itself, a shallow, beautiful exterior that concealed something truly terrifying.

As for Dark Mind, he isn’t a fusion of two beings. But a reflection of (probably) Dark matter swordman (so the first we see) given it’s a complete opposite of a sword user, magic. And they both have a human like form and then become a ball with a big eye

Dark meta knight being the possible host of the remaining energy and powers that dark mind has

Wow. Those were some of the strongest vocals I’ve heard on the channel. The contrast of Kyle’s calmer Taranza voice with Ostara’s crazed and obsessed Sectonia all backed to one of the best combinations of final boss tracks in the Kirby series was all superb. Now my heart yearns for something like this for Planet Robobot given its crazy finale. But for now, bravo!

This song is really amazing it really shows Taranza’s sadness about Sectonia. While Sectonia at first is more elegant until she fell into insanity thanks to the dimensional mirror.
Sectonia has such a beautiful voice for a Wasp Queen turned flower monster. I could hear her operatic singing for hours.

Kyle Wright and OstaraVA portray Taranza and Sectonia. I love how the lyrics explain their story in a subtle way and love how the lyrics feel Shakespeare adjacent it fits really well with the whole Romeo and Juliet thing.
I love that Sectonia never realises she's gone insane like other takes I've seen on this song, it's genuinely chilling having Taranza realise the person she used to be is completely gone and death is her only chance at peace now. Also, Taranza being the one singing during the vocal parts of the song is actually kinda genuine ngl. Also, also, 1:39 IS HE SINING THE MELODY OF THE GUITAR SOLO OF THE GAMETAL REMIX, OH MY GOD!!!!!

There's so many things I adore about this (Sectonia and Taranza's INCREDIBLE vocal performances, the art, the clever references in the lyrics that fit so well), but the line that stuck out to me the most was "here beneath the moon and stars lies the one I adored, now reduced to an animal screaming"
Like oh my god, that is such a perfectly GUT-WRENCHING way to phrase what happened to Sectonia. The old her is effectively dead and gone, morphed into a beautiful caricature of a "perfect" ruler, and then into, well… a screaming animal. Plant-animal(?) hybrid, but details.

I love the opening to this. I interpret it as Sectonia (the real one hidden deep inside, not consumed by vanity) singing about her unfortunate fate before getting taken over by the aggressive husk that now controls her and will fight to her final breath.
Moonstruck and World to Win (yes I know this is specifically Soul of Sectonia) are some of my favourite songs in the franchise so hearing Sectonia and Taranza sing beautifully is exactly what I wanted/needed.

Gosh this song is such an emotional punch to the gut. Taranza just wanted to do something nice and it backfired it the worst most horrid way possible. Him accepting that the one he loved is gone and needs to be put out of her misery just makes this emotional fight all the more somber now I think about it. It's not just a fight to save Popstar and the land above but to also put a corrupted soul to rest.

This was one I'd hoped you would do because these are my two favorite Kirby characters, especially Taranza when you take into account his full story.(Team Kirby Clash Deluxe is now the canon sequel to this game) This is perfect. The calm but mournful Taranza, contrasting with Sectonia's crazed voice and desire of control, all while slipping nods to hard mode lore, including the "Taranza's cries can no longer reach her" and the term "Eternal Sleep." So perfect, can't wait to see what's next.

I cant stress how good this song is, after begging both moti and juno to cover it for years, this made it all worth it and decimated my expectations, both june and Alex did so good with the lyrics, making every line feel poetic and beautiful, and whoever wrote the "friendship turned to grief no relief holding onto belief beyond reason" and "forget forgive go on and live forever ill be berift" is better than Disney at musical style song writing, also nobody got name dropped!(Im weird, when any name is said it kills the mood for me, like in zero lab when they say pokemon). Also the references! The gametal solo especially is so good! The voicing is so good as well, Ostara has an infinite vocal range, and Kyle has the same kind of beautiful voice as Steel, which is insane, and i cant tell which i like better

I was discussing Taranza with my friend last night. And everything about him just makes me sad, like i've sat here and been moved to tears because of a spider who misses his friend. He stole the Dimension Mirror somehow for his friend as a gift. It slowly corrupted her heart and soul, and the whole time he stuck by her side doing her bidding. Not because he's evil, but because he thought she was still the same friend he had always known, and was only awoken to the fact she was no longer herself when she blasted him into the distance. I cant even begin to imagine if we saw more of him during a little behind the scenes part of TD being him at war with himself. Continue to defend his now lost friend, or help Kirby put her to her eternal rest. Its depressing when you realize he understood the best thing for her was to put her down. I didnt want this man, i just wanted to kill eldritch abominations, not see a man go through the worst emotional trauma of his whole life.
Like honestly were the devs ok when they made Triple Deluxe and Robobot back to back

You don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for a proper lyrical cover of Triple deluxe’s music. The one from Internet remix all those years ago was just what I wanted, but didn’t feel as ambitious or lore accurate as I wanted it to be. This however is a huge improvement to that and I love it! I hope more songs from the 3DS kirby games get the same treatment in the future❤

I was taken aback by Kyle’s and Ostara’s performances; they both did incredibly in this already dynamic piece. One thing I’ll say is that the correctly translated name of the song is Fatal Blooms in Moonlight. It’s not a huge deal; mistranslations and name changes happen to lots of Kirby songs. Regardless, this song and performances are astounding! Amazing work; can’t wait to see what Kirby songs come next!
