I have been watching and making cookies the way you taught me to 5 years ago. Out of all the people that are trying to copy you they’re out of luck. There’s something I don’t know in your house or in the cake mix that you buy but it works. I’ve tried a few other peoples recipes & there garbage. My almost 7 year old granddaughter is obsessed with YOUR Cookies & So is Her BFF that Lives Nextdoor. I told him this morning that I was going to bake cookies. He jumped up and down before he got into dad’s car and said thank you thank you thank you.
Use lemon cake mix with a few blueberries. Then make a glaze out of powdered sugar and milk. Once cookies are done, drizzle and let them cool off. So good!!! I sell them in our bakery. You can also use them to do sandwich cookies with buttercream in the middle. We do a lemon curd buttercream
I just wanted to give you a tip. If you bake in a dark pan lower the temperature by 25 degrees. Instead of 350 degrees set it at 325 degrees. Dark cake pans , cookie sheets , etc always 25 degrees lower. The baking time stays the same. Also they continue to bake while setting on the hot cookies sheet move them to a cooling rack you will notice a softer cookie . You will be happy with the results ! 🤗
Yeah I've had them I'm in Maine and it's nice to watch other channels because it seems that the recipes are getting easier which is always nice especially when you're getting older helps me tremendously
I make cake mix cookies every year! My dads birthday is the day after Christmas and his favorite cake is German Chocolate. Instead of baking him a cake I make cookies with the German Chocolate cake mix and sandwich them together with the coconut and nut frosting in the middle. So yum!! We all love rolos too so I might have to try that one out!
Hi from someone who's honored to share your Dad's birthday- I love cake mix cookies- today butter pecan with butterscotch chips- haven't decided to add walnuts or not- wish I'd live in the South where pecans are cheaper- trucking costs keep me pecans too expensive for me in the Snowy Midwest.
I make chocolate cherry cordial cookies with cake mix. Cherry cake mix, 1 package of mini chocolate chips and then drizzled with white chocolate after baking. Oh so good!
We made crinkle cookies yrs ago in Home E.C., all you did is take a cake mix of any kind and a tub of cool- whip, thawed. Mix together and, roll them in balls, then, roll in powdered sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 mins. There nice and soft and, melt in your mouth.
I just learned about the Parchment paper at age 66 BUT its amazing an works 100 %! No exaggeration! I am msking these cookies for my sister today as in now an am out of parchment( after my paper lasted forever) anyway am having to go to shortening an flouring my cookie sheet. Boohoo i want the Parchment! Lol. Anyway had to share a fact. Thnx.
1 minute into the video and my mouth is already watering. I haven't tried Cake Mix Cookies yet, but I have a feeling this video will change all that! I Love seeing Braden in the videos. I have a nephew named Braden, so he has an extra soft spot in my heart. I think I gained 10 pounds just watching you make them.
I'm from Ireland and have honestly just found out about cake mix cookies by watching you. These look amazing. No need to guess what I'm making for Christmas. Thank you 🎄
Never have had them but I've seen them quite a bit lately and now since I know they are super easy I'm definitely gonna give this a try. You guys are always smiling and so funny. Always makes me smile. I love you guys.
Happy Birthday Elijah and many more to come your way today enjoy your special day with your family and friends at your Birthday Party Tina Danny thank you for sharing this video 2 EASY CAKE MIX COOKIE RECIPES AND YOUR CRINKLE COOKIE RECIPE AND YOUR ROLO COOKIE RECIPE love watching it love you all have a wonderful Weekend and Merry Christmas to you all
I absolutely love your natural style.. The teamwork between you two makes for a 2for1 cooking/comedy treat. Definitely am going to make both cookies. Thanks so much for a refreshing demonstration.
Your fiving me ideas. I always used fundetti cake mix and when they come out of the oven, once cooled I would warm up the icing in the rub...to a thick drizzel consistency and then brush it on the tops of each cookie, add holiday sprinkles to them. Amazing and I am known for this cookie at work...lol!
going grocery shopping as soon as my son wakes up, and getting confetti cake mix and powder sugar to make some christmas cookies! thank you for the idea i know their gonna be amazing 🤤
1/4 cup of oil I use canola I have made them before Wal-Mart has a sale on Duncan Hines cake mix and brownie mix 1.00 a box for each cake mix and brownie mix
So, I bought my cake mixes and Rolos at the dollar store today and rather than messing with the food coloring, I bought the red velvet cake mix. So pretty and yummy! And the dough really does look like slime - my granddaughter is a real slime head- she loves the stuff and makes it all the time. Does feel pretty good, I have to say.
The red velvet cake mix is better for the red cookies. I'm afraid of overmixing the dough just to try getting the food coloring incorporated. Great idea for using the red velvet cake mix. Also, if it says to refrigerate for 30 minutes, that's really an important step so I wouldn't skip it. (But I understand that she skipped it for purposes of recording the video all at once.)
Bayouma777 OK, I made them both today. The red velvet are beautiful and look very Christmasy. The chocolate are delicious! I did forget to refrigerate them, so they both are a tiny bit overcooked. But still awesome! Will definitely make both again. But not today - I’m exhausted...
I do these every year! My variation is I do the chocolate ones and when they come out of the oven, place half an Andes Mint on the top, let it get melty and then use the back of a spoon to "frost" the cookie with the mint. They are delicious!
Summer colors! When Tina was mixing in the food coloring she could drop blue and red and then mix just till swirled effect and boom 💥 red white and blue! Lol
I love baking myself my fav thing to do. Hoping my pain will ease By next Thursday on vacation. Didn't help getting broken ribs near to the time of Christmas. I love look them cookies. Yum yum
I saved this video to watch later and just finished it. We are making the rolo ones for a cookie exchange tomorrow. Thanks for sharing a super easy recipe! It is just what we needed for right now!
I’ve had a lot of mixers over the years, but the best mixer I have ever purchased and will always purchase is the Breville. It’s a little pricey, but so worth it. It comes with dough hooks, beaters and whisks. It had a timer on it and light.
I've made cookies from cake mix many, many years ago. I thought they were a thing of the past! I'm glad to see they’ve made a comeback. Yes, I think I will be making those for the holidays. Thanks for sharing!!
These look great, will have to try. Black Forest Cookies. (The only cake mix cookies I usually make) 1 box of devils food cake mix, 1 can cherry pie filling, mix together, drop by spoonful onto baking sheet, bake @ 375 for 10 minutes. Tastes great, super easy. ( may have adjust time / temperature for your elevation) Making today, haven’t made in a few years, Adjusted time to 20 minutes. They weren’t cooked at 10 minutes. Baked @ 350. That’s probably why they weren’t cooked. My mistake!
I just made 8 +dozen of these last night!! I use a box of cake mix one egg and a tub of Cool whip! My favorites are the chocolate and red velvet crinkles!!
Until just now i've never heard of cake mix cookies. These are a must try for me. I am also a more vanilla less chocolate person as well. Happy Holidays to you and your Family. Thanks for sharing... xoxoxo....
I recently made the spice cake mix with a can of pumpkin purée. Ooooooh my SO delicious 🤤 😋 I find cake mix cookies are WAY better. They always come out super moist. Yum - O! I like simple. I’m no baker....that’s a fact.
I have made cake cookies for years and they are always a hit! One variation we love is using a spice cake mix, no powdered sugar, but a swipe of cream cheese frosting 😋😋❤️ I have to say for the “vote” the chocolate would be my first choice 🤓
I just got done making two different kinds of fudge and some chocolate covered cherries. I was sitting here thinking what cookies I could make that were easy and boom! There was your video. I am SO going to make both of these tomorrow!! Yum....
I like to make chocolate crinkles with the choc cake mix (extra moist & or w/pudding in the mix!)or roll vanilla cake mix in cinnamon sugar! Cherry chip cake mix makes an amazing cookie w/added choc chips & then rolled in powdered sugar, like a crinkle! The possibilities are endless!! Adding things like cherries, toffee, mini marshmallows, caramel bits & so much more!! Happy holidays!
I have made these a few times in the past week hehe they are freaking awesome! I did chocolate cookies with rolos today for a Christmas party where I study, everyone was asking for the recipe! Thank you Tina!
Yes, I have had cake mix cookies. They're delicious! One of my favorites is German chocolate. So very good! Has anyone ever tried pudding mix cookies? They're good too, but I like cake mix cookies a bit more.
I make cake mix cookies all the time, my favorite red velvet with cream cheese frosting. last year I made the ones that are cake mix cool whip cookies. They turned out really good.
I might try the chocolate Rolo cookies; but since I don't Rolos, I'd use the mini Reeses cups! Bonus, the mini Reeses cups are not individually wrapped to a little time saver there. The crinkle cookies look good. As for the colors, yeah, pink for spring; yellow for summer; orange for fall; red for Valentine's Day; red, plain/white, and blue for patriotic holidays--Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Veteran's Day; red and green for Christmas; yellow, orange, and chocolate/brown, and red for Thanksgiving; the possibilities are endless! This was a nice video. My first time watching your channel. Merry Christmas! (Oh, and hubby said he dropped a piece; little doggie is waiting for his chance to come get it.)
Yep, I’m stealing this recipe. I may put a pecan halve on each of the chocolate ones and then make red and green crinkles but definitely gonna make. I love ur cook w/mes. It’s the way I like to cook. Easy peasy but delish!!
Thanks for sharing part of your lives with others throughout our world via You Tube and Social Media. You are a beautiful family and very inspiring and entertaining! Thank you! Loved your video. Been exploring cookie recipes from cake mix since getting a mix for free & no cake pans at the time. Definitely fun results for when mixes are on sale or craving fresh cookies impromptu.
I LOVE those chocolate Rolo cookies, when we make them we put a piece of Hershey’s chocolate on top, right when it comes out of the oven and then let it melt and spread it over the top. So yummy!!!
I crinkle all of them. Thing is, tho I've seen a couple different versions on YT over the years, the recipe I've always used was from an All about Cake mix recipe book I got prob... idk, 12 yrs ago. Can always put whatever add-in's you want & IF you can find 'em, any type of small chocolate discs = amazing & different. Like the rolo, they give little pockets of chocolate rather than chips alone (which, don't get me wrong.. are still good!) My son's fav, was always the strawberry cookies. Recipe in book was.... 1 stick, 1 brick, 1 egg. In bowl, cream 1 stick of room temp butter with 1 brick of (full fat) Philadelphia Cream Cheese. Once combined, stir in 1 egg (also room temp or close to it, is best) .... then, choice of cake mix (I usually looked for the ones that said 'moist' or 'pudding in mix' but.. any work great!) Throw in a couple hand-fulls of white chocolate discs or chips (or broken up white choc candy bar, hershey hugs, etc) & stir until just combined. Use a small cookie scoop & then roll each ball into powdered sugar just to coat, before placing on (non-stick foil is a God-send, btw) cookie sheet. Bake as above until they look done but not crisp. Let cool.... enjoy! Good luck keeping them around = Deeeeelish! Banana cake mix w/ nuts & white chips is good... choc w/ graham crackers & mini marshmallows = amazing... german chocolate w/ cut up caramels & nuts OR heath chips = yummy.. Lemon cake w/ white chips & candied lemon... refreshing & pretty.. Esp since, ya' crackle them all for that look & added touch of sweetness. Nom nom.. Let me know if you try them. However you do 'em tho.. ENJOY!!!!! Stay safe & be well.
A friend of mine stopped by last nightand she said she was going home to make cookies. She asked if I ever made cake mix cookies. I hadn't. She said that's what she was making. This morning this video showed up in my "recommended". This happens quite often!
Brownie mix cookies are amazing too.

I am definitely making these for gift boxes
2nd. Christmas I came back looking for this video..... Got it..... See you next year lol
Top of my list to try.
Yumm,😋😁🤗 ,I love lemon 🍋

I’m like you - I don’t need a kitchen aid either. I also love just my hand mixer or spoon and my own strength!😊
I use a rubber spatula when I mix these. Just made cinnamon sugar ones for a bake sale. They come out tasting like snickerdoodles. Yummy.
