Thanks for posting. This was an epic show - I attended Saturday with my 18 yo daughter who is also a fan. A once in a lifetime experience of classic boingo that I grew up with, elfman’s new solo material, and his many well known movie scores all mixed together by dozens of musicians on stage in a tapestry of fun. Truly unique and unforgettable!
One of these years I'll get off my ol butt and look into getting tickets for this show, if I don't have to go through Live nation/ Ticketmaster. Can you get from Hollywood Bowl box-office?
Ummmm...ok then...HUUUUGE Boingo fan here...HUUUUGE Danny Elfman fan as well. But I gotta say that I'm really disappointed in this version. There is a large part of the song...an important part...missing! WTF? And if you have to ask which part...you're not a true fan...not a real tender lumpling.
The verse about the tiny brain slipping down the sink, and also the bridge about biting the big weenie. He took it out to add a new instrumental bit I guess. Would’ve liked at least some new lyrics but could only be too on-the-nose in this day and age.
@@nuclearcatbaby1131 Agreed - - - have a hard time with his solo versions. Seen the rest of the band and I'll tell you, Bartek, Johnny V and Johnny A makes a huge difference!! I'd rather see the former guys than Danny at this point.

Danny is still such an incredible performer, it's really cool to see him sing boingo songs.
