I remember when I first played this game I was also 15. My friend group at the time was really into RPGs and card games and whatnot, so the stat building and open world completely blew my mind. We all had kind of a sort of gentleman's agreement not to look up walkthroughs (although, the only credible one back in the day was the official Morrowind Guide - which none of us could afford!). We ALL completely fucked our sleep schedules for this game. I KNOW we spent more time in game than in class lol.
I feel like that's a story everyone can share. It was Skyrim and World of Warcraft that absolutely ruined me when I was younger. I couldn't ever pull myself away from the worlds they created and my academic life was practically null, lol!
@@YourAverageBo I felt like Morrowind was more educational that most conventional curriculum anyway. I practiced statistics, touched on politics and philosophy, learned/mastered the principles of anarcho-capitalism. 700+hrs well spent.
