Dragon Quest is the most reliable game series and the music is the best but sadly Dragon Quest isn't popular in the USA

@@R-Otaku747 After DQ11 was pretty successful worldwide I keep my fingers crossed for DQ3 HD to keep the momentum going. How great would it be if that one and 1+2 HD sell well enough to get a remake of 4 to 6 or even 7 to 9 on modern platforms.
What an amazing work they did with everything to one of the best franchises of all time. Unfortunately Dragon Quest is not that popular here in the west, however it is a fact it holds the medal of JRPG founder, the original forerunner.

Probably the DQX Hero, because he can turn back time without the aid of some McGuffin. (it's a recessive gene, but one that he has some amount of control over, all the same)

Most of the heroes in the zenithian have fought final bosses who go beyond space and time so probably them. Dragon quest has some surprising strong characters despite it's appearance.
I've only played DQ IV so far and the Hero can use an item called Sands of Time and that restarts the battle
