I do think paid dlc mii outfits deconfirm given rex technically isn't the playable fighter and now we have kazuya instead of heihachi.
Something I believe you missed actually was that sakurai confirmed assist trophies deconfirm back in brawl. On the brawl dojo page for assist trophies (specifically the part on waluigi) he mentioned that if the character is an assist trophy it means they will not be playable. He also said this again in a miiverse post but said miiverse post was deleted alongside the rest of miiverse
Ah gotcha. That's fair. I don't see how they could co-exist either way so makes sense. And did he now? There's an archive where I think people have all the posts so I'll definitely check that out as well. Thanks for the heads up ROB
honestly I don't anything deconfirms fighters unless they are not from games, and or they have issues with working
