I hope you know that even years after making this video, and all of your videos you are still saving grades and helping calm stress. Thank you so much you’re a great teacher!!!
I wish I had found your channel 2 months ago. My grade in pre-calc would be vastly different. Your videos make so much sense compared to my teacher's recordings for our class. Thank you for doing this hopefully this turns my grades around from midterm on!
For real, you're the best sir! I watch your videos prior to tests and I'm able to understand more thanks to you, than from reading text book. Thank you so much
I have a midterm exam today and the teachers’ one hour long recording was so confusing. I’ve learned so much with your videos and I’m now confident Thank you so much.
Thanks for your vids Mr. Mclogan! I've understand everything pretty much about graphing rational functions. Really detailed and clear for me. This would help my upcoming Finals exam.
Hi sir I get how to work out the asymptote s and everything I just don't get how to draw the graph at the end once I did all the working what shape is the graph stuff please help
When finding the X-int , you used the quadratic formula and got an imaginary number, However cant you factor the quadratic and end up with (x-1)(x-1) and have the x intercept be +1 ?
Factoring the quadratic does not give you (x-1)(x-1). (x-1)(x-1) = x^2 - 2x + 1, which is not the quadratic we are trying to factor. It is impossible to factor the quadratic using conventional methods, which is why he resorted to using the quadratic formula(the most powerful, albeit tedious, method for solving quadratics).
How did he know in 8:22 that it wasn't factorable by factoring with rational numbers? He made it seem as if it was common knowledge or as if there was a technique to know.
Isaac B how so? I have a Masters degree in secondary math Ed. The amount of errors in some of Brian’s videos is amazing. At 10:10 a student asks about solving for X. His response is wrong. I’m sure this dude is nice and knowledgeable. He just needs to edit out the errors and focus on attention to detail. His audience is susceptible to partial or inaccurate learning with so many mistakes.
Tmw Batman okay, I understand. I thought you were just being picky, and calling him out just because he made mistakes, even if he did correct some of them. But if he did make some mistakes that were never corrected then that makes sense. Also he cant entirely make a script because this is just recorded while he is teaching in a class and sometimes he doesn’t know what the students are going to ask.

You are very welcome so happy I could help
These videos literally save my life (and my math grade)
Happy to be there for you

My finals are in 2 weeks and this was very helpful! thank you sir
If I had this guy as my teacher I'd have a 99 and I would enjoy math lol
I have a college level pre-cal quiz today and you've been saving me since highscool. Thank you!
you've literally been my teacher this entire semester
This dude’s brain is so big. THANK YOU BRO
wonder what else is big ;)
are you guys still alive

I've been saved, I should buy his merch for gratitude
Can you use the factored version of the term or does it have to be the unfactored version

How can you tell what the range is of this function?
graph it
I like your algebra videos but have you taught matrices?
how do you graph a slanted asymptote of 5x -2 :'( I can't find any videos showing any equations similar that is graphed
ughhhh
How about if your slant asymptote is y=x+2?? How are u goin to graph it?
just like you would graph the line y=x+2
What about the range of this function?
if you graph it from desmos you can see the range is All Real numbers

Test today😢
best of luck Van!!
Sameee. Final exam today
7:40 he cross multiplied wrong
MR.GOGETA he corrected himself noob

Write a better script.
Make a new video.
Tmw Batman no it’s good
