The pacing, clarity and organization of this video were exceptional. Thank you for putting it out as I would have likely failed my test without it. TH-cam Math teachers are truly not appreciated enough, will certainly be back in the future.
why is this not getting lots of views? this just explained it better than my teacher and it only took one video no replay. hope you get more views your vid really helped.
Mario as you explained the graph can never cross the vertical asymptote, but it can cross the horizontal asymptote. Can you please make a video about how to know if the graph will cross the horizontal asymptote ( especially when considering the above five examples). There are a few videos available on TH-cam about this topic but they are of very low quality and hard to understand.
@@daisy9537 I know this response is late, but just in case others are wondering about the same thing. The VA asymptote is never crossed. The other asymptotes can intersected since they are about the end behavior of the graph. so if y=0 is an asymptote, then as x approached pos or neg infinity, the y value appraoches 0. However, the function could be 0 for mid values of x. try y=x/(x^2+1)
Crazy that you are more clear and just all round better than every math teacher at my school. THANK YOU
You’re welcome!

This was really helpful, thank you so much. I just have one question, can the graph touch or cross the slant asymptote?
Yes, absolutely
@@MariosMathTutoring but aren't asymptotes supposed to be parts where the graph never touches but gets close to
