I think I could spend all day in that record shop! I miss not having a CD/record store in Nottingham, such a tragedy! Great video!

Yeah I know! It rarely lines up with both something I like and/or what I’m looking at. But hey, I don’t go for the music, I go for the CDs! Always good finds to be had no matter what they play.

If that place was any closer to us I’d go there every week. It seems their philosophy is to keep the prices down, making the turnover spectacular. Certainly the case with vinyl. What a treasure for us to enjoy Brendon. Glad you found some loot!

Wow! I don’t buy CDs anymore, but some of those prices were incredible, as you mentioned. Thanks for another great video.

Ian Paice actually tours with Purpendicular in between Deep Purple tours in order to keep in shape. I've seen them a couple of times, and it's always a pleasure to hear Ian Paice performing Deep Purple tracks he doesn't play with Purple anymore (such as Burn for example), and it's also great to see him in small clubs. I believe this is Purpendicular's third album but the other ones only have a couple of tracks with Paice.
Very cool! That Howe brothers cd is a great find too!
    Cheers.

Hey Brendon, just found your channel and really enjoying it. Wanted to let you know about a little record shop called "Abbie Road" in Audubon, NJ. It's very small and unassuming but man it is just stacked from floor to ceiling with music. Mostly CDs with a small vinyl section. It's a one-man operation and the owner Bob is just the coolest, most laid back original hippie you will ever meet. He'll always give you a discount off the listed price, too. He's got just the most amazing selection of box sets, bootlegs, live material, and bands I have never seen in any other brick and mortar shop. Loads of stuff that is not available on any streaming, too. It is cash-only so be ready for that, but if you can make a trip down there it's well worth it.

Wish I had a record store like that near me. The NY stores are something else. You did so well to pick up those Urchin CDs, I am an Iron Maiden fan too and those are collectors CDs that are hard to source and normally go for a lot more! What amazing finds.

This place always has a great selection of all the rock genres on CD. I could pick up a good number of CDs from here. I would have bought the Spys CD, as not got that one yet and it was sealed. Been on my want list for a while!

Damn, great prices in there, definitely would have gotten that Dan Baird album for a couple of bucks, always liked the single from that, "I love you period " , also the Joey Molland cd for 3.99 plus about a dozen others I would've walked away with. Thanks for the video, just wish I was closer to that area.

Hey Brendon, thanks for these record store videos. We are right now in NYC on vacation from Europe and I already visited a few of your recommended stores. I was at Princeton record exchange, Sound exchange, factory records and flipside records. They were all great and I found a lot of good stuff. Keep up the great work!!!

Those are some seriously great deals on CDs! I wish we had a better priced used store in Knoxville. I am able to luck out some times but the store I go to is way overpriced on the bulk of their stock to the point that in many cases I can purchase cds brand new on Amazon for cheaper.

I found that SPYS album on vinyl in Beacon New York for maybe $3 a few years ago. Bought on a whim because I loved the cover. It’s a really great album! I was hyped when I looked it up when I got home and found out it had some members of Foreigner. Great video as always! I love having my morning coffee and just watching you go to record stores or talk music. I’m not in a position where I can afford to continue to grow my collection of music (not selling though) so it’s nice to watch you. I can at least check this stuff out over streaming.

I always enjoy it when you showcase CDs in the store, I happened to own a lot of them this time. I completely forgot I owned that Bryan Adams album until you showed it, I'm going to have to pull it off the shelf and give it a relisten. I am glad you picked up The Pilgrim by Joey Molland. A really great album, I really like his songs in Badfinger so this is a nice continuation. You might like his solo debut After the Pearl, which was reissued in 2016, another solid album.
The two Moon Martin albums you featured a couple weeks ago are supposed to arrive today, looking forward to giving them a good listen. When I saw he had ties to Phil Seymour that sealed the deal. I even shelled out $30 for Martin's debut, it is a 2fer, so I guess I will have two copies of Escape From Domination now! Love these record store videos.

I’m sure you drove down to Princeton, I don’t drive or else I would go there more often. I was thinking of taking the train from Penn Station in Newark but I hear that you still need to connect to some kind of shuttle. I’m down to about three or four stores in New York City, very sad situation for record collectors here in the NY area.

Thanks for the video. Interested to hear your thoughts on the eponympous album you showed while at the record exchange, by Wolfmother. As you would know they are an Australian band. Welll I remember a while back hearing the album in the car and was totally blown away. Great sound, great band and a singer with a unique voice I would definetely place in the top 100 unique rock voices of all time. Can't beat Aussie rock :)

Lol great record store finds though. I saw 2 albums I would have picked over the last few times you were there: Bryan Adams get up and Bob Seger “Like a Rock”.
