If carbon was the main culprit there would have been a sharp rise compared to the previous decade in global temperature during and a few years after WW2, when the amount of carbon emissions sky rocketed to fuel the military transport and other equipment. But it didn’t. Same thing with WW1. Then there are the ice caps breaking off. Ice floats in water so no rise in sea levels from that and it can take weeks to years to melt while some of it evaporates as well. That doesn’t cause a significant rise in sea levels in the vast ocean waters.
I saw a British gentleman address students. He pointed out that even if their protesting resulted in Great Britain producing 0 carbon emissions it would have zero effect on "climate change". He suggested that there energies would be better spent studying science and engineering to develop technical solutions for the world. This of course is not the route these idiots would take. It's much easier to complain about a problem than take on a STEM education.

What I hate to see is that security at different places in today's world is totally useless. You can go in, vandalize, damage property and all the response you'll get from the security is "can you pleeeeeease stop that?".
Man, I was I on a cruise ship a year ago and there was a slight situation in a bar of a drunk guy behaving inappropriately - after a while, a couple of security guards (like 1.8-1.9m tall, 110kg+ muscular) came in, without talking slammed the drunk guy on to the ground, cuffed him and carried him away. Now that is how you deal with intruders, vandals etc.

If carbon was the main culprit there would have been a sharp rise compared to the previous decade in global temperature during and a few years after WW2, when the amount of carbon emissions sky rocketed to fuel the military transport and other equipment. But it didn’t. Same thing with WW1. Then there are the ice caps breaking off. Ice floats in water so no rise in sea levels from that and it can take weeks to years to melt while some of it evaporates as well. That doesn’t cause a significant rise in sea levels in the vast ocean waters.
I saw a British gentleman address students. He pointed out that even if their protesting resulted in Great Britain producing 0 carbon emissions it would have zero effect on "climate change". He suggested that there energies would be better spent studying science and engineering to develop technical solutions for the world. This of course is not the route these idiots would take. It's much easier to complain about a problem than take on a STEM education.

What was the point of the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Bill of Rights, Revolution, Civil War, or any law protecting Life Liberty and Property, then, if it can all be forfeited upon the whim of the masses, how does that protect individual from the mob? And how do you know people want to watch it, if it’s the media and government “telling you” that that is the case and their is no longer independent journalism or voices allowed to warn you otherwise, which you yourself can then listen to, assess the character of said individuals for yourself, and make up your own bloody mind wether to trust and believe them more than the media and government, or not? Why shouldn’t that be the way we continue to operate? Were going to trust everything they say now? Or just let them enslave us by giving up on all these hard won, inalienable rights???

I'm glad I won't ever have to deal with this where I currently live, but if it came down to it I can promise you these morons wouldn't have a chance at slowing me down or keeping me from going about my day.

I am in my seventies and have always cared about our environmental footprint; having used material bags instead of plastic bags and with other eforts like driving less, so walking everywhere with my children when they were younger. However, I cannot believe that these people think they can convert people with their ridiculous tactivs!!! And do they protest outside the Chinese embassy who must have a huge carbon footprint.?!
No because that is not the idea. The idea is to target and harass the populous and please the government and international overlords who fund their brainwashing.
