Great content, Nico! Here in the Philippines, one can build a budget collection with Seiko SNKs, Alba, Timex, Casio & Axis watch. I vouch for Axis because of three main reason: they are sturdy af, water resistance is on point, and it is all-stainless steel. Have 2 axis watches ( a 2-tone dress watch & a stainless black dial beater) for over 3 years. Axis watches are marketed as a Timex sub-brand.
I also own 2 Alba watches (a leather strap date watch & a chrograph), & finishing quality is top-notch, being a Seiko sub-brand.
..and of course all my 4 watches are quartz, and im honestly proud.❤

Not to be a party pooper. I do love Nico a lot too. (Although he explodes my ear drums every time I push play on one of his videos) But I think he sort of missed the point of this type of video a little bit. The collection videos are not made to show specific bargains one can obtain after tedious searching, but rather intended for factory fresh watches one can get for the given price points. I would like to know Nico's detailed opinion on islander watches, Vostok or some Orient and Seiko watches that in my opinion, would have brilliantly found their place in this video, without devaluating the premise of having a proper watch collection. Just sharing my opinion, big love to Belfast, I promise that if I ever get my hands on enough money to buy a luxury timepiece, I will head straight to "the vault"! ;)

I liked the video & won't lie there are probably alot of viewers(like myself) that appreciate many of the watches, but most of watches we are going to buy are maybe max $10k. So knowing options is great because there are some amazing watch brands that, for you probably what you would call budget brands but for me & many others on higher end of our budgets not saying it's not a dream to get say a Royal Oak but that will take time to save where I could get some quicker. Like I get it's not a high end brand but like I have 2 from a company called Egard most of theirs are under a grand but me personally I like them. But my next 2 purchases are going to be a Rado & Probably Tudor or if I see a Pan I like within my range.

Affordable, solid watch collection that will last forever and suit anything you wear:
    - CASIO G-Shock (or a cheaper, smaller CASIO)
    - Seiko 40mm SRPE55 (or the cheaper, smaller 37mm SNK393)
    - Seiko Tank (or the cheaper CASIO tank)
If you go for the cheaper variations on everything, it should all come to below 250$ for 3 solid, sturdy watches.

I will outdo Nico. Tissot Powermatic T classic with leather band for weekly wear $400. Mvment diver automatic recyled ocean watch for beach and exercise.$125. Longines Conquest watch for variety and a steel band. ($225) Skagen thin quartz watch. $100. Automatic Swatch. $150. But all one really needs is the first 3.

My watches would be the Hamilton Khaki Field Auto ($415, Joma), Orient Bambino 38mm ($250, Orient), Apple Watch SE ($199, Walmart), Casio Duro ($50, Amazon), GA-2100 ($90, Amazon).
For $1004 I’ve got a historical masterpiece, a classic dress watch, a modern complication, a beater diver, and a hype watch. Only downside is there’s only one watch here that is the best version of the watch without a black watch face.

If you‘re thinking of buying a Seagull 1963 please read this. I own two. A 40mm Chrono Heritage M1963/X - SEA-GULL ST1901 bought directly from Sugess Watch in China and a 40mm limited edition Red Star bronze Seagull 1963 that came from the official Seagull 1963 store in Belgium. The Seagull is a watch that is hard to fault and I‘m quite fond of both of mine but my customer experience with both companies was hardly satisfactory. In sum I was swindled twice. The Sugess was supposed to come with the Swan Neck movement but didn‘t and unfortunately too much time had elapsed before I found out for me to be able to do anything about it. As for the Belgian Seagull 1963, it was only after I had received it that I found out that they do not individually number their limited edition watches (instead all 300 are numbered 1/300) and that it was missing it‘s tag, manual and registration QR code. It was also shipped about two months past it‘s preassigned shipping date. The company in Belgium casually dismissed my concerns and when I asked to return it they informed me that the 14 day return policy had expired. Be very careful who you buy from. The Seagull 1963 company in Belgium seems rotten to the core. I wouldn’t deal with them again if they paid me. BEWARE.

I have found Swatch thanks to Nico and I couldn’t be more grateful. By far my favorite watch brand, I love the look of traditional watches like the Rolex Daytona, but there’s something about Swatch that calls to me. Also Swatch is one of the way more affordable luxury brands!
