Really looking forward to seeing the rest of this series 👍 having trouble tuning a black wolf riser and uukha limbs 50lb @ 30 inches and seems to be needing 250 spine arrows with 125gr on the front… thoughts? Don’t know if it’s just me or the bow…?

I've always shot split finger my whole recurve shooting life (45 years). I see a lot of 3 under shooters. Feels pretty weird, but should I switch? Trying to get consistency out of my new recurve tuning.

Will way to stiff give false read and land bare shaft nock left?
Ex. 38# bow 28” draw. 30” 600 spine 100gn point flys and sticks pretty straight. I cut that arrow to 29” and now it sticks left. Show weak spine. How does that happen?

More than likely it’s you not being consistent. You must record yourself and then assess the differences between shots . Then assess grip pressure between shots , release consistency, how clean your release is ,finger pressure, shooting split finger or 3 under , along with different finger position and pressure ,etc… These are just a few examples of all the possible variables that could affect the outcome. You’re the machine when shooting trad bows, compound bows are the majority of the machine and has less variables for that reason.

Something must be wrong ? weak arrow, you say : cut arrow, add weight?...stiff arrow: longer arrow, add weight ?? why always add weight ?? I think , weak arrow--> use lighter weight to stiffen it up, isn´t it ?

Longer arrow means weaker arrows and adding weight makes it weaker
Shorter arrows means it’s more stiff and less weight makes the arrow stiffer
The more weight you have up front makes arrows weaker
