No godsire on the populate deck, no ixidor on the morph deck, the decks are good, but this is really weird
Egg Mom looks so fun.
Seems like it works with any kind of Egg creatures too.
Nesting Dragon would be great with her.
It does work with changelings and stuff and ye nesting dragon will be nuts in my hatchery deck :)
honestly, just don't use any "bad" hit and focus on giving her haste and sac outlets.

Gireds deck it's THIRSTY for a Helm of the Host
Because helm gihred and attack with both making two more gihreds that are both attacking (unfortunately not infinite but four gihreds in one swing is pretty nuts)

I was least enthused about this deck at first but after seeing all the previews, I think it has the most synergy and looks the most fun. Definitely growing on me.
It's just the dead hands of only having cards that populate. A boardwipe has the potential of leaving you with a hand full of dead cards if you already played your current supply of token makers. I am liking the inclusion of cards that can make token copies of cards in your grave
These videos I have been excited for all week the morph deck is the best by far in my opinion
Of course, It's the three best colors in EDH, so it's obviously the best.
Yes out of all my decks my muldrotha is by far my favorite the colors is what drew me to it
Jon Clough I predicted that it and flashback would be the best out of the box, Morph looks like the best out of the box, and flashback looks like it has the most potential(IMO)
The madness and the morph were the 2 I have been interested in can’t wait to see tomorrow’s video for the madness deck good way for rakdos to draw with the precon commander
Makes me sad that Sultai plays so well when Naya has all my favorite colors.
I will say that WotC sort of hyped up good reprints for this year's product, but so far outside of Seedborn Muse nothing seems that impressive.
With the right populate setup, Desolation Twin seems pretty sweet in this deck.

This deck can get out of control pretty quick. All 3 decks look great tho. One more to go.

I love my zacama deck
Primal genesis to me need only 3 cards replaced for 3 others, those are cards are Parallel lives, Anointed Procession, and Doubling Season, all 3 of these cards double your tokens, and sense primal genesis is all about tokens, these 3 cards can make your oppenents fight against use seem far back, but if you can keep yourself alive to do this, good work because your oppenents will go for you first sense of you making alot of tokens.
Should have reprinted parallel lives or doubling season again since doubling season is still too overpriced

That's what I thought, either one of those feels like a no-brainer in this deck, if not both.

That's the least important part of the video, besides the usual "Ultra Pro, Card Kingdom and Patrons".
I really hope madness is good. I love the flavor of innistrad and want that deck to do stuff
I understand these episodes have been sponsored by WOTC and you probably have to obey their format, but I'm sure hoping you guys do some fully fleshed out episodes on these decks...
I think it is more of a time frame thing. It's a lot of decks to preview in one week
They're probably not supposed to talk about too many new cards, because that would render the other guys' reveals irrelevant.

cool thing with beastwithin too is using it with the other commander with the eggs, use the egg as a chump blocker, or just end step before your turn, blow up an egg with beast within and give your self a potentially good creature and a 3/3 for your untap. seems good
A little sad no reprints of token doubling enchantments (Anointed Procession, Parallel Lives and ESPECIALLY Primal Vigor). They've all gone up in price and Commander seems like the perfect product to put them in. Still a very good deck tho and got me building a core-green deck for the first time :) I look forward to Kiki-Jiki-ing a Palace Jailer every turn with this deck
This year is pretty garbage. Reprints are pathetic.

It's 9 Mana and you have to make it to combat step. Too many hoops
@@Ubermunki3 It's used in cEDH with Godo, Bandit Warlord, which is 11 mana (6 for godo, 5 for equip) if you don't have a way to cheat the equip.
So ... not really too many hoops.

At first I was excited for Ghired, because I don't have a Naya deck yet. Though when I saw Marisi I knew it was the perfect way to create a "forced combat" tribal. I think it would have been easy for them to make it only when Marisi deals damage, but the fact that it says when ANY creature deals combat damage to an opponent is just so powerful.
Goad is such a great multiplayer mechanic. It's useless once you're in 1v1, but ideally by the the leftover opponent is so beaten and battered from being attacked by the others that it'll be an easy cleanup.
What no parallel lives or an anointed procession
The flashback deck didn't even have Past in flames so why should this have a 15$ card. #thesecondarymarkethastoeattoo
Altar of Bone in Atla.
Altar of Bone on the Reserve List, has spiked above $35 a couple times in the past few years, and is less than $4 at the moment.
What I love about it is that it's a sac outlet, letting you sacrifice an egg, but then it also tutors a card to hand. Yeah, tutoring to the top of the deck would be better with Atla (Worldly Tutor, Congregation at Dawn) but this is almost as good because:
Now you can go in to your deck and find that low CMC utility creature, or that creature with a cast trigger that you don't want to lose out on by cheating it out with an egg, and you put that creature directly into your hand to be able to cast it, AND you thin it out of your deck so that the egg you just sacrificed has a higher chance of hitting a big huge dude.
hmmm no Marath no godsire hmm no Doubling season or anointed procession (a must) I can make this much better add the previous cards add a elvish piper and dragon lair spider and dragon broodmother and couple mass token cards and artifact and aura mutations for a start
I mean a single parallel lives or anointed procession could’ve easily help this deck be what it should. I feel like they’re making these decks so they’re all equal by not being as powerful as they should be.
Phyrexian processor will be a great card for this deck

When I first saw the Commanders, I thought, I'll just get the Morph deck. But then I watch these videos and think, crap, I'm going to be getting them all aren't I!

Your green decks should not have trouble finding card draw, honestly. Greater good, all the Collective unconscious effects (Regal force!!!), harmonize, tireless tracker, sylvan library, rishkar's expertise, elemental bond effects. There is a wealth of amazing draw effects assuming you're playing creatures, in your green deck.
I'm much more liable to draw my whole deck in monogreen than I am in any of my blue decks.
If you were to exile ghired with mimic vat and just attack with him wouldn't it create an infinite amount of tokens if you kept populating ghired?

@@stevenluoma1268 if you're a newer commander player pre-ordering all the decks when they were at 109 is very good value. They give you a lot of good building blocks for multiple decks. If you have a large mtg collection you probably want to just get singles though.

If you copy a zombie army and amass, does it amass on both tokens?
You only choose one of the army tokens and make it bigger.
701.43a To amass N means “If you don't control an Army creature, create a 0/0 black Zombie Army creature token. Choose an Army creature you control. Put N +1/+1 counters on that creature.”
701.43b The phrase “the [subtype] you amassed” refers to the creature you chose, whether or not it received counters.

Atla Palani is the real commander here. With 4 "Egg" creatures playable in these colors and her tokens you can QUICKLY create scenarios where boardwipes are actively detrimental to your opponents, or at least where you can recover very quickly.

Already have a really powerful Trostani Token deck. With this and some singles I still need to get it could become one of my favorite decks to play.
Not sure if I would build this commander, or get the precon to take apart and put osme in Trostani and some in Brudiclad.
Egg Momma is a sleeper in a Naya cheat out commander style
I understand why this is, but this deck just has very few recurring token generators. Their idea is to use populate, but I would take a stomping grounds over anything with populate, if you draw a stomping grounds, your good. If you draw something with populate, without tokens, your screwed
When it was announced as a populate deck I told my wife the best token in the deck would come from mimic vat.

the decks demselves are fine but man, these reprints suck hard. after lasts year really bad decks we were told, that this year we will get something worth for our money with the reprints. turns out it was a blatant lie.

Nevan Yarrow because morph is better. There’s a read muldrotha decks are so popular, having faced against them multiple times, they can be extremely powerful, and the new general gives you a morph for free and draws you a card. Populate, might be good against the precons, but against a meta that are prepared to change their deck up, it’s not good imo. Think of it like this, you have to have a token to begin with, and my experience with standard has been mostly positive, but when your reliant on making a single big token, and then your opponent just casts unsummon. Depends on your meta I guess.

Adding helm of host will make this deck more fun specially on the white dinosaur
Don't forget that with Mimic Vat you can also use it on creatures of your opponent that die.
