You have made me realise how unnecessarily aggressive my driving instructor speaks to me when they are frustrated, but this isn’t normal! You’re smashing it it’s great to see someone soft spoken and calm no matter what😊
i really hope you find a new instructor- my old one was horrible and would yell at me for everything and my new instructor is lovely
My instructor said if u do the same mistake i will beat u😭
My instructor was like that. I was vomiting before and after lessons due to the anxiety and I was not learning anything. It put me off driving for 3 years before I got the courage to start lessons again.
I’m now with an amazing instructor who knows how to deal with my anxiety and speaks to me calmly and respectfully and he is booking my driving test for August.
My advice, switch instructors. Find one that’s best for you and uses your teaching style.
I’ve done lessons with breaks due to Covid from December 2019. I passed my test 2 weeks ago with 12 minors (😅) at the age of 42. I got my first car yesterday and have driven 15 miles relatively unaided but my partner was trailing behind… he had to get out of the car to help me park😮😫 but I’m doing much better than I expected ☺️keep going.

Yeah I am confused 12 minors, meaning what kind of mistakes? I fail my driving test for D category twice first 9 mistakes 2nd 10 mistakes

As much as I agree, I did a test in february and got a serious for a similar clearance incident where in my mind I knew it'd make it through but the examiner marked it as a serious fault as they thought otherwise.

Very Smooth Driving Experience !
My mom taught me how to drive. Two months before my test she printed out blank dmv grade sheets. She gave me a couple mock tests. She would pretend to be the examiner and would actually grade me.
At the end she would tell me how I did one the result and where I needed more practice. It actually was extremely helpful I ended up passing the real test first time with no demerit points.
She did the same for my sister as well. It worked for her as well.
That made me laugh going round the roundabout twice. Sort of thing I would do 😂

Some cars like the volvo have electronic engine oil sensors. You can't check the oil with a dipstick because they dont have one.

It's the bay parking that I usually have hard time remembering where exactly my reference point is to turn. I failed my first test which lasted way longer than everyone else said it should, but hopefully 2nd time will be a pass. I do same as Lottie when think I've done wrong lol

I watched this video last night and it really helped me see were I was going wrong. I passed my test today with 2 minor faults very helpful thank you.
It would be nice if we had the view of the mirrors in instances where you bring up that she should be checking her mirrors. If there's not enough space on screen to leave it up throughout the whole drive, I think it would be beneficial to at least have a pop up for a few seconds like during the round about. Kind of like how you do for the rear cam

Even though I've had my license since 2006, I am learning so many things from your videos, Aman!
Maybe because I'm from the Netherlands and I've never understood all the English traffic rules and road markings 😉 Apart from that, I find it somehow entertaining to watch your learners having all these experiences and getting more and more skilled. living in the UK but often going to the Netherlands to visit family, I can safely say that Dutch roads are mostly much less confusing than the road layouts here in the UK
@@Kj_Gamer2614you think so 😂 I’m from uk too. But when I go Netherlands I always get ran over by bikes cuz I don’t know the roads they’re confusing for me haha

10:03 I failed for t=doing this on my first test. I did my checks and indicated despite the round about and roads being empty behind me, still marked as a serious and failed me. the only "mistake" I made on that test too

I failed also in a bay park when one tire was slightly on the line and I honestly find it shocking that it’s a major still to this day, similar to me this girl definitely can drive so failing on a park is really deflating
Variations in road driving spaces makes driving interesting
As much as it seems harsh, i love that Aman got out to check the parking. Its great for a mock test to be that extra bit harsh so that they're not caught off guard in a test. (Or just real life for that instance haha)

Dang they got the Benz drivers ed cars out there? Or are those just after market pedals? And do I see two pedals on the passenger side? What's the point in the gas pedal since there's a clutch, i guess it's better to have than not since you can likely still use it in instances it's not out of gear?

One thing tho. You said when she moved off she checked her center and right mirror + blind spot amd no need to check the left as there nothing that can cause problems? What about somebody running past or a animal or child. I got taught to check them all before pulling off as things can change quickly.

how can parking over a line be serious in ant way? that doesn't effect anyone else on the road. Ridiculous! absolutely insane!
Because they test the parking as if you were parking in a bay with parked cars as you will be doing that often. Parking on or over the line could cause other cars issues.
