Rishiji (later in his life, when his son "became" an actor) wanted his son to act in remake of this film, Rafoo Chakkar. Fast forward to today November 2022, his son is refusing to do any remakes of Rishiji. His acting is so many levels lower then Rishiji"s natural talent that it is the only decision he wisely made. Naturally we, the audience, would compare the performances, and NO ONE can outperform Rishiji, leaving the remake actors in the pile of dust. Bollywood was Bollywood back in the day, even when Rishi Kapoor's films were not commercially succeseful at release, those same movies became legends of Bollywood silver screen (Karz, YVR...) later. Rishi Kapoor was ahead of times.

Full time pass movie., now in the year 2020 I am a retired employee of Mumbai port trust Shri sachin chandrakant Potdar Andheri West Mumbai., I had seen this movie in the year 1976 during Ganapati festival., those days it was a great treat to watch hindi movies on the streets of South Mumbai., I had seen raffo चक्कर on the terrace of an old building in Ganapati festival., masala movie with beautiful songs., looked it as fresh as it was thirty years ago., thank you very much for uploading this entertaining movie.

Rafoo chakkar is a take on Billy Wilder's 'Some Like it Hot' (1959). Rishi Kapoor played Tony Curtis' role, Neetu Singh Marilyn Monroe's and Paintal did Jack Lemmon's part. The last line , "Nobody's perfect" by Rajendranath, the eccentric millionaire, who pursues Paintal (who's in a girl's get up most of the time), is straight from its Hollywood version, and is one of the most quoted lines from Hollywood films
