    Dude the ST might be more convenient but you know In your heart the S got your heart man. KEEP THE S!!!

      Haha the hardest choice ever! And yeah luckily I have a while to choose which one speaks to me more

    I have a 2018FXLR in NZ,put cruise control on it and man it make a big difference. Love the M8 Softail platform!!

      Makes a huge difference on long highway rides! I don’t use it often but it’s nice to have if im ever on the highway for more than 30 min

    How do you like those mission thrashin gloves? On the fence about them, not sure how well they'll do for colder riding

    Better bang for the buck with the S. Also it's easier to customize; tons of after-market bag options. Just bought an S and I LOVE it especially the dash!

      I’m actually ending up keeping the ST since the S is easier to sell for me rn, I love both and would keep the S, but I’d save some money keeping the ST

    Clean the garage out and keep them both

    I personally ride tons and I’m tired of toting a backpack around so the St is a clear winner imo. Minus the dash they are the same softail, so aren’t most aftermarket same-same?

    • @CMmotorcycles
      @CMmotorcycles  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it’s pretty much the same for aftermarket plenty of options!

    I would love to have an ST , and I would put a 2 into 1 exhaust and replace the bags with some leather bags from Boss Bags . But that’s me , you do what you like & don’t listen to other people .

    I’m still shocked once I understood you actually own both 😂😂, I got the 117S in black like you and absolutely love it, I live in costa blanca Spain so hot climate here and I love the more naked style, st looks great but it’s not for me, good luck 🍀 regards Dennis

    • @CMmotorcycles
      @CMmotorcycles  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha🤣, yeah it’s a tough choice, if I lived somewhere warm year round it’d be the easy choice low rider s all the way!

      @@CMmotorcycles you could always put a bigger fairing on the S with Quik release and only put it on colder days 👍

    • @CMmotorcycles
      @CMmotorcycles  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@On2WheelswithDennis yeah that’s true too, just gotta find the right fairing

  • @JR_1982_JR
    @JR_1982_JR ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I got the S in black exactly the one you have and I love it. I got forward control and tallboy seat installed. Keep it lol😂. I’m not a big fan of the fairing and digital display.

    • @CMmotorcycles
      @CMmotorcycles  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awesome! And yeah I don’t mind the fairing it’s pretty cool, but I just way prefer the S gauge, if I could easily swap it into the ST I would but I can’t find any S gauge that looks the same and I think they’re vin locked so idk if it’s worth the trouble, I’ll prob end up keeping the S

    Keep the s as you can get a screen that can be quick release, can get a set of leather pro panniers which are bigger than the st as the rear right is tiny cruiser control can be added as if got it fitted lol Then you have the best of both worlds ... Remember Resistance is Futile ..... lol

    Idk, it depends on which suits your riding style the best. If you primarily ride on city/country roads, the fairing and bags seem unnecessary. LRS is highly customizable and you can truly make it your own. If you’re on the highway often or take longer trips often, the ST makes more sense. I don’t think random people on TH-cam can make this decision for you. It’s personal to your needs.

      Ended up selling the low rider S a couple days ago, ended up keeping the ST since it’s kinda like 2 bikes in 1, I keep the bags off unless I know ima need them and it’s nice it already comes with cruise control and a fairing!

  • @grayghost1423
    @grayghost1423 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Get rid of one of them and get a tour bike. Go for a SG/RG and if you want a adventure bike get the BMW. The Pan America needs more development. Maybe a truck, it looks cold there!

    • @CMmotorcycles
      @CMmotorcycles  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kept the low rider ST cause it’s kinda like 2 bikes in one and I did end up getting a truck for work, and if I want to go on vacation I can take my dog and my motorcycle with me now

      @CMmotorcycles good decision! I'm fortunate to have multiple bikes and a truck. It is much better in winter. I just picked up the Lowrider ST. Too early to tell much, seems fun to put miles on.

    Keeping the ST is a no brainer.

    • @Konigkev
      @Konigkev ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Cruise control around $300, Bags $2000, fairing $3500. Harley has the lowrider s gauge available for a few hundred dollars. I’ve been waiting for my lowrider s gauge to put on my ST since September. I’ve been told it’s on back order until January 1st.

      And you can get the integrated Rockford Fosgate Soundsystem. What do you my opinion is mediocre because I wear a full face.
