    Yay Jeff is back! With all that TLC your plant should do wonderfully. 🌿🌱🌿To make it fair Matt should go on vacation for a week too! 😂
    Good luck and welcome back!

    Interesting thought to use the drip bag to help the roots attach to the roots plank.

    It’s nice to see you again! Still rooting for you 😊! This little dripping gadget is amazing. I’ll be interested in seeing how your pothos responds to it.

    I love your ingenuity! You might enjoy the Hugo's Amazing Tape. I switched from the green velcro to Hugo's and I am loving it. Got the idea from Fern, I admit. It's transparent so it ends up being less visible when using to tie plants to poles or planks.

    🌿 So glad you're back...yay! , and hope you had a fantastic holiday. Whilst waiting for this video my tendrils attached to the plank wall by my desk 🙂. I wonder...if you drill through the plank at a 45 degree angle down to plant-side, the feed tube will have a smoother run (no right-angle crease), and the flow rate might tally more accurately with the flow toggle calibrations? Can't wait for next video (no pressure 🙂) 🌿.

      I have corrected the kink but lowering the bag slightly, but your solution makes much better sense hahaha. Thanks Joanna!

      Taking a leaf out of your book (pun?), I attached a small potted Pothos cutting to a plank about 3 months ago, and can hardly believe just how firmly those small adventitious roots start 'cementing' themselves to the wood grain. When you realise this behaviour is all built into the plant DNA it reminds me just how wonderful nature is! @@EverythingPlants

      Hey Heather. I sure hope that this drip bag works and keeps the plank consistently damp.

    Add root hormone to the drip!
    I water my cuttings with it in there. You've got this!

    • @EverythingPlants
      @EverythingPlants  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That's actually very interesting???!!!

    • @MarisaAndChew
      @MarisaAndChew 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@EverythingPlants well my theory is that the root hormone mostly seems to get into the water after dipping it in anyway, so I've switched to just adding a tiny tap of out into my water and shaking or stirring it in (can usually still see it a bit) then I refill clippings in extra water and then I water my alocasias with what's left which I'm not sure helps or not but I never had corms just pop up on their own and now I have been. So.... For you you've got air roots just like if your trying to water prop so why not either add it into the water or wipe some onto the board? We already know it doesn't hurt the plants or cause you to grow an extra finger 🤣 for the like 5 dollars for the pro mix one (that's what I've got) it def won't hurt your pothos... I tend to also add fertilizer to all my water so my props get that with the rooting hormone in one 🤷🏼‍♀️
      Yes, this all started BC I had forgot to dip my cuttings and didn't feel like taking them all out 🤣

    Hi Jeff. I am going to start using planks this spring which is about a month away. I need some help with the selection of the width of a plank.
    I know this will be different for different plants, but could you please give me an idea of the width to use for a small Monstera with two fenestrated leaves, and for a Cebu Blue?
    Love your videos and learn so much for them.
