I used to run a one-shot in 5e that put the characters into a poker game that inevitably turned into a bar brawl. Was a lot of fun. I should see if I can convert it to PF2e
This reminds me of an OC: my Kobold Monk with Improvised Weapon Mastsr as a Free Archetype. He would carry an extra bag of useless junk to spill out in battles to make a field of improvised weapons. Such fun to sometimes smack someone with a stone mug or mini ladder
I was addicted to the Weapon Improviser archetype for a bit. If you’ve ever seen Studio C’s “Bourne HR”, where essentially all other departments (like HR, Workplace Safety, Accounting) lambast Jason Bourne for the effect he’s had on their workplace lol. Weapon Improviser essentially being: “GM’s tired, make up your own weapon”. I made a Librarian Warrior: Tome Thaumaturge with Weapon Improviser. Since Thaumaturge’s damage comes a lot from Weapon’s Implement and Exploit Vulnerability. Throwing the book at people…quite literally! Stupid idea, but also hilarious, lol!
i should at some point make a weapon imporvisor monk, get me a chair, a ladder, a baby and marathon all the old Jackie Chan movies and its going to be glorious.
Pummel is so good. I like the idea of using the archetype as a way of doing bar fights! I have always done in bar fights just the simple "don't take the normal -2 penalty" -- I've never felt somebody should need to take a archetype to do it if an entire scene is just fisting _(That's what she sai---)_ I find just this alone with a good custom Troop is a good time. Theres multiple drunkard-like npc's you can easily pull from for all kinds of ideas!

Aren't all rogues trained in all martial weapons as of the Remaster?
