@@CordlessReactsyay!! I'm so excited. It's in my top 5 Taylor songs. Her song writing is her gift. How she took such a painful situation and turned it into such a beautiful song. Subscribed and looking forward to your reaction!! Thx!! 😊
Taylor has not left a lot of men, she had her heart broken by 2 different guys who were way older than her, she was 19-21, and they did her wrong. Taylor is 34 and if a guy was to date the same amount as Taylor, nothing would be said. Her numbers are way lower than you think.
No reason to hate on her 👏👏 Taylor does her thing, loves her fans, supports her boyfriend and is pretty unproblematic. But if you didn’t expect anything from her lyrically then you don’t know what she’s all about. Even in her least complex songs she has something to say. Thanks for having an open mind!
Thanks for doing a Taylor reaction! I love when men are open minded about her. Imo the Reputation Tour performance of this is better. But if you only watch one other thing, please I beg you, watch Don't Blame Me from the Reputation Tour. Hands down one of her best live performances and best vocals ever.
Idk I a vibe this reactor is being forced to react just for the views. I genuinely hope that, that isn't the case. If he had a more open mind he would be very surprised by her lyrically abilities @@IvyCowboy
Taylor has not left a lot of men, it goes both ways. Plus if she did who cares, she’s a fucking Rockstar and beautiful and young and single. Well not always single, but stop judging something you don’t know the actual facts about. Not expecting lyrics to break down either, why? Do you even listen to them? Please have a more open mind moving forward, she will surprise you.
I was very open minded and I look forward to listenting to more of her stuff that isn't the stuff they play on the radio. I didn't mean any harm in saying I didn't know what to expect lyrically, as I mainly listen to rap music and break down the metaphors and punchlines they use. Thank you for watching and please let me know more recommendations!
How do you expect him to want to move forward with Taylor's music if every single thing he says is met with hostility? We want people to see how talented Taylor is, not how toxic her fanbase can be.
The snake comes from Kanye West and Kim, they edited a tape to make her out a liar over song lyrics about her that Kanye had in his song Famous. They put it on social media and started calling her a snake. About 3 years ago someone leaked the unedited tape showing Taylor did not know about those lyrics "I made that b!tch famous". This was at the AMAs, she gave them a full-on concert.
As a swiftie, I’m often surprised by how many non-fans don’t realize that Taylor’s music ranges over several styles and genres (pop, country, folk, alt, indie, rock, and all possible hyphenated combinations of these). Also, in addition to her live performances, she also has a bunch of fantastic music videos. The song you just reacted to, for example, has this astounding music video that is fun to watch, even if you are not a big fan of the song itself: Look What You Made Me Do (official music video) th-cam.com/video/3tmd-ClpJxA/w-d-xo.html Here is an example of a great live performance/music video combination: Reputation Stadium Tour movie: intro + "ready for it?" th-cam.com/video/2QJaf6qq8jQ/w-d-xo.html Ready For It? That is easy, people life in bubbles and algorithms now, so if you have a favorite musical taste you will find your bubble somewhere on the internet with the music you love and the chance of something intruding on that is very small. I know Swift from her first two album time and only came into contact again because i follow Kelce. Before that i heard her name at times but never looked any further into her music since it did not hit my bubble.
Totally agree! And also how people just think that she's a teen pop artist because she started making music as a teen. As if she never got to grow up and as if her (first gen) audience didn't also grow up too!
"I Did Something Bad” is track three on Taylor’s sixth studio album, reputation (2017). It plays on the public’s perception of her at the time, with her singing from the fictional, dark character they portrayed her as.
If you want to see more of her deep very lyrically significant songs I would recommend songs from the long pond studio sessions from her folklore album and include the part in the beginning where she talks about the inspiration behind the songs. I really like My Tears Ricochet which is about her masters from her 6 albums being sold without giving her the opportunity to buy them and how she felt betrayed by her former label owner because of this. The song really sounds like a breakup song because she kinda equates that to a divorce. Also This is Me Trying is a great song from the Longpond Studio sessions.
Def a good video to start with to see Taylor perform!!! I’m almost sure you will like her songs by seeing that you’re paying attention to her lyrics! Then when you come to know where each song is coming from you will understand her much more…. I’m telling you as the guy who knew about Taylor and a few of her songs, but then o really got into getting to know about her and all… One recommendation to watch next: Intro + Are you ready for it? from the Reputation Stadium Tour First time I see you, hope I get to see more reactions of you! ✌🏼
I don’t think anybody mentioned that the “ratatata” sound on this song was actually something Taylor thought of in the middle of the night and recorded on her phone then her producer took her voice and mixed it into the song.
She is shown an average of less than 25 seconds during games. Read the news. Other celebrities are shown also at all sporting events. This has always been the case. Not to mention the hours of commercials people watch during and prior to games, especially the Super Bowl. The only complainers are the ones who hate her for political reasons. Swifties recognize them by their complaints. Anyone who says she takes time away from the game is an outright liar trying to discredit her.
I think we can ALL agree the NFL and the cable networks really leaned into the Taylor sightings and keeping us updated on her wheareabouts. I mean, ESPN even reported on her flights and her arrival to the Superbowl. Airlines created Taylor Swift themed flights to the Superbowl as well. It's not far fetched to say she has been the focus more than any other player's gf/wife pretty much ever. Again, she shouldn't be the one facing backlash simply being her and going to watch games, but the media took it and RAN with it...
Hope you do more Taylor. I think you will be pleasantly suprised! Reputation era is my fave. But no bad ones at all. She goes from country to rap to deep emotional ballads. Anything you like you can find.
You want to break down lyrics? Please do "My Tears Ricochet", either a lyric video or her performance at the Folklore: Long Pond Studios Session (it's on Dysney+). Taylor is the sole writer on that song, and it has 3 possible readings. The first one: it's about the end of a marriage. Second one: it's about a woman who was killed by her partner and now haunts him as a ghost. The third one relates to Taylor's life: it's not about a romantic relationship at all, but about her relationship with the owner of her old record label (scott borschetta) who discovered her singing in a dive bar, signed her to his brand new label, was like a father to her for over a decade, and then didn't let her buy her own songs no matter how much she begged (he only offered to sell on the condition that for every album she bought, she would own the label a new release; a slave contract). He also sold her life's work to a man (scotter braun) who publicly bullied Taylor when she was at her lowest. These 2 men are the reason she's re-recording her albuns.
Taylors last relationship before Travis was over 6 years. Twisted facts & gossip & the media is evil. Kanye screwed her a few times & after a conversation with him, he lied & told people she agreed to let him call her a Bitch in his song. She denied it, so Kim edited the recorded phone call to make Taylor look like a liar. People turned on her & she disappeared for a year. She came back stronger than ever with her 'Reputation' tour. Just recently, the entire recording was released & now everyone knows Kanye & Kim lied. Taylor has a new song, shaming Kim, called 'thanK you aIMee'. Notice the capital letters in the title. LOL Taylor is a clever writer & the song is perfect.
Fun fact she actually have a good relationship with most of her exes they understand that this is her craft she write about her life i think the only ppl she is not cool with is john mayor (who dated her when he was 32 and she 19) and maybe Jake

Shallow is when you judge someone by their looks or what is at face value, right? not sure where you got that out of this reaction but I did nothing but praise her here. As far as lyrics, I didn't know what to expect from her lyrics wise and as I stated, this was mainly going to be a rap music reaction channel, but I had friends request this song.
