That thought was immediately changed after i saw that barb can use multiple weapons and switch between them mid combat... :D.
@@TheComebackKids yes, the attacks are not the flashiest ones but look very brutal. Look at that whirlwind, cuts those goats in half. Barb is not just killing the evil, he slaughters them.
I love the idea of switching between weapons for barb. I think i am going Rogue though. Seems like a cool mix of D2 assassin and Amazon with D3 demon hunter.

Also I am totally one of those dads you mentioned in the "what version to buy" haha. One thing though, I think the $99 is way to go for the parents wanting to play actually. We don't have as much time as some players but that is why those tier skips would be good. Let's us get more out of time we play.
Dude I didnt get to build a Barb in D2R so I could definitely see myself building one in D4. Maybe after the rogue or sorc. The rogue is the most interesting to me b/c it is a completely new class, then the sorc. I will be curious to see what 2-3 classes they come out with in a DLC.
I think each class mechanic looks fine, but would be significantly immersive and flavourful if all of them were buildable stances instead. Each class would tweak stances a bit further thru their characteristic interests and have their favoured items change accordingly. Every single class mechanic works to find an edge to play them, but to me, currently, it seems that barbarians are getting the short stick. My prediction is that I’m gonna go with a necromancer, again, even tho I love druids. Simply because you can’t go wrong with an army of the dead.
@@TheComebackKids I think so too. The current one works well enough and it’s not easy to design these systems so I’m grateful for the hard work the team has done. The game is growing splendidly. We shall see how the game is developed in the future. Perhaps we shall see something similar or maybe truly spectacular! 🥰
Barbarians tend to be alot weaker than caster and long range classes. Hopefully D4 will change that up. I think the problem is they lack AOE and that hurts them alot. Wish they had a skill that would be like a shoulder charge or something that would hit one enemy then bounce to the next up to like 3-4 enemies. Possibly have a stun or something. It would be a quick attack that would allow you to do damage to several targets quickly. Or a spinning blade/hammer throw attack that you could throw into crowds and do tons of damage and it would return to you. There are plenty of ideas for attacks that they could use instead of having some basic, boring attacks that attack a single target. Obviously they have some, but I feel like the barbarian needs more attacks like that in general to help elevate him to the level of other classes. The barb in D2 was really stale because there wasn't enough variety to his attacks. D3 barb was a bit better, but I still used a WW barb in that game. He needs alot more variety and other things to make him stand out as a total badazz that is a master of weapons of all kinds. He needs to be made unique in that regard. Especially with his attacks.
Im not Tanky at all and my hota barb struggle at 52 doing not enough dmg. Often only 10k dmg hota hits while necro friend blast everything away :/. Tried many different hota builds with almost same result
@@TheComebackKids the crazy part is I got there late, teleported out, ACCIDENTALLY teleported back to the event stage, and it threw me in an active event that ended 1 second later and it awarded me the loot and xp
What makes the Xbox bundle look "absolutely incredible"?? It's just a black normal system literally NOTHING special...when you over hype literally everything it really depreciates the actual good things as well as questions integrity of your content, if everything is special then nothing is actually special. There's a fine line of hype machine to get cheap views and actually quality content worth watching.
You know I never played a Barbarian in any of the Diablo games. I think that's about to change.

Yea i usually play some with ranged dps like sorc or necro. But i started a new one with barb and i like it. Is a damage sponge

The rogue is the same as demon hunter in d3. I'm playing monk in d3 now.
