@@kunertdiy so half inch works perfectly for 99% of the install. I just needed a few 1" for the bottom section with the curve. Thanks again for this video. Very helpful.
Good job on the attention to detail (pre-drilling the holes, filing them down, the rubber undercoating, and the weather seal). I plan on installing one of these too, I think I'll do what you've done.

Went to do mine and couldn’t find the sheet metal screws. What’s size did they come with 1/2” I’m assuming?.
I don’t recall but I looking at my video probably around that size. Looked like they were almost as long as my finger was wide.

I bought it from national parts depot. Part number 45728-1S
