Put a bed pillow under the back middle of the trunk lid while it is open before you take it off and put it on. It will protect the paint and support the lid while off the car. It can be compressed easily to line up the holes on the hinges.

Trunk deck fit like a glove Negan. I trouble I have with mine is the side to side gaps and adjustment. One side gap is always larger then the other. Still playing with it, I'll get it right. Thanks for sharing, already saw the Hood Install a few minutes ago. Take care, see you soon.
It would of been easier to glue the weather strip on your trunk first then installed it but either way thanks for the tutorial!! I also noticed the left side of your trunk was a little higher than the right side, often times with aftermarket parts they don't fit as good as originals. To fix this requires a little massaging, sometimes it helps to take the side that's higher and very very gently bend it downwards and it will fix you problem. Again, thanks for the tutorial!! 👍

I think I got lucky. The new trunk lid was shaped well. I’ve heard stories of them being warped or with bad dimensions.
