mitor, battery, micro servos…making ghe control surfaces move…and OFF WITH THE HEAVY SMALL SQUIRREL, nice job, but also as always very idealized finish….the airplanes back then were very roughly built! repaired and patched together,,,,the fotos available tell a hillarious story about „ smoothe“ surface finish! 🤣👌

Super maquette mais comme vous avez un énorme accent français pourquoi ne pas avoir fait votre vidéo en français autrement tout est parfait cet avion est magnifique de par sont design c'est mon préféré des avion de chasse de la second guerre mondial bravo pour votre montage encore

the top of the canopy was actually clear….it was the front hood left after the pilots kicked ozt the sode glass panels and only kept the doors…but maybe the pictures i know are misleading,

Thank you for great tutorial! it's really masterpiece! I have the same kit in my collection and I'm going to start it as soon as possible after your videolesson! I'll take few your methods of assembling and weathering! Special thanks for Ammo MiG Oilbrushes: I'll order some of them. Will you be so kind to tell what kind of thinner you used in order to remove excess of oilbrush? Is it simple White Spirit or may be it's something special? To answer to your question : I use Abteilung 502 fast dry thinner (ref ABT113 or 1488... there is 2 number but I don't know what is the good one).

@@DarkSideModeler Thank you for your suggestion! I’ll share with you pictures of my future work with pleasure! Before I saw you video I chose the same color and decales to my I-16, so it will be like twin for your one. 😄 It’s a pity that that main part of your inner work is not visible: I like your idea with wires and will use it in some other models. In general the cockpit of this model too small and we can’t see the most part of cabin. Concerning the thinner can you tell you waiting between oulbrush application and excess removing? I have the real problem in weathering because I’m on the beginning of it. Did you have any experience in weathering of black models? I mean totally black: like F-117A or SR-71? Thank you and have a nice day!
In fact I am not measure a praticular duration of drying. I do all the weathering effect and I adjust it with thinner in the same time.
Concerning the weathering of black model, you can watch my video on the AH-6J. This copter is totally black and I used a grey panel wash.

Dear Maestro! Can you explain why did you leave propeller in silver (aluminum) color? I like this color too, but it should be black (H12) according to painting scheme?
