Yes there are some new(er) kids on the block but to me Matt Day still remains the ambassador of film photography on TH-cam even though he’s shooting more digitally nowadays. Been a fan of Mr Day since day 1 and him sort of tagging us along in the ups and downs of his life is very genuine and relatable.
I hope he doesn’t stop any time soon.
    Love you Matt!

A hot dog is a sandwich. Merriam-Webster defines a sandwich as “two or more slices of bread or a split roll having a filling in between”

You guys display a lot of folding cameras folded open. Are those ones "sacrificed" as shelf pieces? Should I fold my working cameras down when not in use?

The only folding camera I really have experience with is the Polaroid SX-70. Since that one draws battery power of if a film cartridge is and it's best to leave it closed when not using it. However if it's something that doesn't use any batteries you could probably leave it open. Folding mechanisms also act as a lens cap an many cameras.

@@robertknight4672 I heard that it's not good for the springs to stay in the open position for extended periods of time. But I just want to know from the pros

@@seanconnors9912 That a good I've heard about that with the shutter release. For example on any camera that manually advances I typically don't Advance film lever don't plan on taking any more pictures or when it's in storage. I don't really know how many Springs in SX-7 has but the only one I really noticed when I open the camera up is the one that holds the viewfinder up.

They don’t make batteries big enough to film all of the attempts.
