Great video. I love Margate, it’s definitely on the up. Gina’s Bakery is fab, my favourites there are the cherry buns too! It is actually specifically the Cliftonville area (where Cliffs coffee/record shop is) which TimeOut listed in their coolest neighbourhoods
It definitely is a town on the up! Yes Cliftonville is the area Timeout named and most of the things we done were named in it (except the old Kent Market but it’s too cool to ignore 🤣)
Maybe we will have to go back to double check if it’s cool or not 🤣 we really hope everything else opens up in there as we approach the season, need to sit on the top of that bus lol

That day was interesting, the caves made me claustrophobic! Those baked goods were really reasonable and looked so yummy, I would definitely go back there if only for the bakery!
Hi Guys, we love Kent...we were kicked off the Carnival pride last August due to COVID-19 and once recovered we spent 9 wonderful days exploring Kent and the UK... We really enjoyed Folkstone as well. Can't wait for our next visit there this June as we join the pride again to sail back to Tampa.
Hi Charles. Sorry to hear you were kicked off the cruise but sounds like you turned it in to a positive! Folkestone is great isn’t it? How long does the sailing to Tampa take?
It wouldn’t have been the top of our list either but it is changing a lot. So much more to it than just the seafront. Give it a few more years and it will be one of THE places to be on the Kent coast again 😊

We will be on the ship for 156 days...and yes Folkestone was interesting,.

Those caves are a total hidden gem, well worth a visit! I (Jason) have been to Chislehurst caves but Josh hasn’t - must take him one day?
Hmmm, nice beach and I guess Dreamland is a pull but Margate wouldn't rate my top 20 I'm afraid. It is a bit better in summer I suppose.
