Her wanting to make her kids proud really made me smile!! I guarantee The whole reason she signed up was for them! Kudos to her! I’m sure her kids are beyond proud!
My kiddo wants to learn skateboarding and wants me to learn too and this is the only video I've found that I feel actually teaches in a positive way and doesn't make me feel icky about it. I'm actually sitting here taking notes.
hope you had continued on your skate journey. there's also Aunty Skates for some inspo. she's mostly on tiktok and IG, but really cool to see her teach other mom's to skate as well th-cam.com/users/shortsJ10a2vFNxKQ?feature=share
Skaters are literally the nicest people. When you show respect and interest for what they're doing and skating they are amazing. It's such a nice community overall. Also, amazing that they decided to have female boarders!! We need to see more of that!
Skateboarding is so much harder than it looks lmao. These trapeze artists are learning so fast and I'm so impressed. I personally own a skateboard and a longboard, but I prefer the longboard. It took me maybe a week before I was comfortable even kicking to start on the board.
this is so wholesome, i love how supportive and clear the skateboarders were :)))) I started longboarding a few years ago, but this is really pulling into my desire to get a skateboard XDD
Do it! Just do it. I promise you that you won't regret it at all! It can be scary but the feeling you get when you dare to try is amazing. My dad always told me to "just do it", it doesn't sound as powerful on english haha, but it's basically his life quote! And he means that you just have to commit, just like they are saying in this video, and after years of boarding I realized the meaning of what he was trying to tell me. So honestly, the best advice I think you can get is "just do it"
@@thelittlefluffybear perhaps in the new year come warmer weather, I'll find an instructor and actually learn a thing or two. And yes I like that philosophy! Thank you 😊
Having already watch the opposite video (skateboarders trying trapeze), I know what amazing athletes are in the mix! It’s so refreshing to see someone so skilled trying something new and seeing that vulnerability we all feel! Loved this group/video so much, I was totally invested in the entire process. Such a great video!❤️
As a skateboarder, this is so hard! I'm surprised they picked it up so quickly, it's sick! It took me almost a year to be able to feel totally comfortable on the board even just cruising around
This series deserves more views . I love the idea of pros of two different arts swapping places to learn each other's art. It's very eye-opening, educational, and entertaining. And on top of that, the individuals involved all seem to be the most fun and encouraging people you can find. I can watch them all day long. Love it.
there's not enough likes for me to give to these videos!! love the series, your channel is amazing! and the energy all the athletes give is so empowering and motivating
As much as I think that most of us learned these things at younger ages, this is what I love about learning new skills/sports as an adult. The support for each other no matter the level of skill is amazing. I don't think people realize how helpful it is
I love how positive and encouraging all the athlets are - no matter the sport or the video. Props to the casting directors for choosing such great people every time ❤
kinda sorta- board size doesn’t really matter too too much- i know ppl with size 13 shoe who skate 7.75s (what that board looked like). i wear size 9 shoe and skate an 8.5 which is a pretty “big” difference. my brother rides a freakin 9.5 board which you’ll never catch me riding unless it’s just messing around 😅 the most important thing is to remember that you gotta stay low and not lean your torso OVER your toes too much
@@posermatt1293 True. I've got really bad balance because of hypermobility, and always feel SO awkward on smaller boards. My first board was 8.5 and even that felt a little too small for me. I just went up to a 9.5 and while it's taking some getting used to, I'm SO much more confident with the wider deck.
I started learning how to skateboard last year and let me tell you its so freaking hard. My balance has gotten a lot better, but man I got so many bruises along the way
skateboarding is super difficult, I tried to learn for years and I kept getting bad face injuries back when I was a teenager, made my mom cry a few times seeing me all rashed up. Literally the only thing I quit because I couldn't get proficient. I did it for just under a year and could only ollie and could barely drop into a pipe. Its tough, much respect for those that take to it quickly.
Any chance we could see Gymnast keep up with Trickers? Theres some videos of gymnast being able to do tricking moves they just never thought of it. I want to see more of that.
I'm not a pro in the SLIGHTEST but it took me a few weeks to stop drifting to one side trying to go straight when I first started learning to skate so their progression so quickly is super impressive to me 😊
I wonder how it is going to go the oth3r way around, because both have balance, but trapeze seems to be all about arm strength, which is not important in skateboarding.
girls telling me their fave tricks: some of the coolest tricks in the book like the bert slide, so fun to do- vs the guys i used to skate w in high school- Every single one of them : "tre flip or ur bad"
Hey! Me too! I have been thinking about it as a way to help me learn surfing. And I am 34. With not good balance. But they both just seem so cool and freeing. We can do this!
I'm way too invested in these two groups just mixing with each other. I want a third video, but idk what they would even do in it lmao
just the group all out having a nice coffee together and sharing trapeze / skateboarding horror stories with each other, come on y'all make it happen
Brunch and story time!
@@ImmortalHDizzle the skateboarders could learn more trapeze stuff and the trapeze artists could learn more skateboarding
THANK YOU FOR HAVING FEMALE/FEM SKATEBOARDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Diversity of this series is iconic!!! Thank you!
HELLA AGREE - so affirming

i agree , i love hot female skateborders !!
And the trans trapeze artist! Tons of diversity
Yeah. They are elegant and patient.
Her wanting to make her kids proud really made me smile!! I guarantee The whole reason she signed up was for them! Kudos to her! I’m sure her kids are beyond proud!
She said she's going to keep practicing it. I'm sure because she sees her kids spending so much time working on it. It's a tough one
Skateboarding is WAY harder than it looks, the girls teaching are so cool!! 😍 And the trapeze artists are awesome too! Great series 👊🏽

So, how's it going with it? :)
Check out Sarah park videos. She is awesome and super relatable
You should check out Braille Skateboarding! They're super family friendly, they have a great tutorial series, their videos are helping me learn.

"You're my skate mom" - this series is so wholesome ♥
Love this series so much! Please keep it up! Especially appreciate that you always have diverse athletes, really empowering!
Same!
Same I love this series.
I love this series. I want a similar series like this only it's professional musicians trying eachother instruments!
Twoset violin has done something like this before!
Twoset!
There's a guy on here that does that! Really cool stufd
Yeah, I really need that too. Arts would be great as well😊
Omg their chemistry is so cute hahaha I can totally see them keep coming back to this skateboarding area off camera and have fun together.
this is so wholesome, i love how supportive and clear the skateboarders were :)))) I started longboarding a few years ago, but this is really pulling into my desire to get a skateboard XDD
I want to try skateboarding now. I've always been intrigued but way too intimated. I'd love someone like these 3 ladies to teach me a few skills.

everyone is so pleasant and cool.
I love all of them so much! How can 6 people all be so cute and wholesome?!
I can't get over the fact how ridiculously fly AJ's glasses are.

I feel like poor Mar was working at a disadvantage with a board that was a bit too small for her. Despite that though, she did incredible!

This video actually helped me skateboarding and learn tricks ❤️
SKATEBOARDING IS A LOT HARDER THAN IT LOOKS!

this was so cute i was smiling the whole time
It was so neat to watch Mar’s progression ❤️
So much fun!
This was awesome! Thank you for putting this video together!!
that was so cool, they did so well!
Is it me or Mar’s voice is like sweet deep? Like honey whiskey ish that you just wanna listen on loop accompanying a jazz band?
Yup yup. Its really beautiful
Loved them all!

You guys should do roller blades vs roller skates
Okey, Jesse laugh is super cute 🥰🥰🥰
I love this group of people,!
i dont care what anyone says, but AJ is pogchamp
Clicked because I saw Eunice Chang and ended up enjoying the video may end up binge watching the series.
I FEEL LIKE A MOM RIGHT NOW!
Surf, snow borarding and skateboarding!
i love this videos
Sick vid!
Jesse is TOO CUTE! More with Jesse Please!!!
They Ollie so fast omg
I wanna draw AJ she’s adorable lol
There is no way a football player could do this as fast as the Trapeez artists who already have good balance.
Great series!!!
Mara is so pretty🥺
can you guys do a agressive inline and quad skates
I wonder how it is going to go the oth3r way around, because both have balance, but trapeze seems to be all about arm strength, which is not important in skateboarding.
They actually do pretty good. It looks like it is more of 10% grip/forearm strength to hold and 90% chest & core strength to do the moves.
6:44 this take place in Korea?
More!
Hopefully I see a marching band/DCI episode!
Erin tho 😍😍
It should have been poll dancers and aerialist and break dancers and skateboarders (footwork and grabbing your board is similar to using your hands)
omg please do one with pole dancers in it!!
They did, it was the first one I ever watched! th-cam.com/video/yV9zAlk72PY/w-d-xo.html
OMG SIERRA AND ERIN!!!!!!!!!
Agressive inline and freestyle skiing

I found myself clapping the whole time when they get the trick 😊 I feel like I'm the one doing it, and I don't even know how to skateboard.
I feel like trapeze artists would be good at figure skating. idk why?
I like to try this. :)
this made me want to try skateboarding, but I'm afraid that at 34 years old, I'm too late.
Go for it!! I honestly don’t believe that anyone’s too old to try new things and skating is such an enjoyable hobby. I think you should do it!!
Why do you think too late? I learnt to cartwheel at 31.
@@bxstar5276 I'm terrified of hurting myself and I think when you're learning, it comes with the territory.

Skateboarding is the hardest sport vs how it looks imo. I skated in the 90s and it's just a hard activity, that doesn't look as hard watching it.
Good job guys I will let you know any tips later
They should do skateboarders and longboarders
I love mar wow
thats it after watching sk8 and this imma buy a skateboard!
that was fun 😁
Great attempts and they were awesome for first-timers, but those were not ollies
"Trapeze Artist" LOLOLOL
U should do divers and trapeze
I tried skateboarding b4 and it didn't go to well
The girl trapeze artist is so precious. 😁🥰
I think there are two girls :)
Omg love you guys expeshialy when they learned trapeze
i love women
This is a great video but kinda criminal they gave them some Walmart/Amazon boards
