So, you print the image, put the powder on, let sit for abt 20 minutes, put under heat press, use unwaxed parchment paper for 5 seconds and slow peel the parchment paper and then press on shirt correct??? Cause if that is how simple it is I will be doing this! My little oven is not big enough and I cannot get the actual DTF oven yet. Please let me know if I have this correct :)

This is after the powder is applied. So do u print the picture do the power let it sit so the ink can dry and then do this?

what dtf sheet are you using? I have a oki printer so my ink is not wet when it comes out. how can I still use the powder with this type of printer?

This is a great hack, but couldn't you get 2 cures out of every sheet by just flipping it over? Put a 2nd sheet between the used side and the top platen that you reuse over and over to keep any glue from getting on the top platen.

prints are very durable, I would even say it holds its print better that printing DTG straight on the shirt, but dtg "Hand" is better
Do you add the DTF powder before or after you let the picture sit for the 20 minutes?
Before
Let it sit 20 mins with or without the dtf powder before pressing?
After print, give it 30 seconds then hit the powder, then wait about 20 minutes to press

right away while the print is still wet in order for the powder to stick to the print
i have same brother gtx and maxx heat press.. what pressure are you using? its it on firm or light, mine snaps automatically
so 355 for 5 secs.
I dont clamp it down when curing dtf sheets, just hand pressure, through trial and error when I would clamp HP down, it would ruin print

this is DTG ink not sublimation
Dude if you have to let it sit for 20 minutes you might as well allow your heat press to cure for 2 to 3 minutes then. Just put it closer to the transfer paper.
What dtf film and dtf ink are you using.
I use ecofreen from all amercsn prints when say thin layer not that thick feeling print
The ink is brother gtx OEM ink, the film is generic film from Amazon,

( Awesome idea )but I have to say what a waste 😢 just more garbage that can't be recycled, and it may be cheaper but for a short time it will ad up to be more expensive than a Oven in the long term
It's a good hack for people starting out on a budget. Make $$, buy oven :P

🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️ so many people are sooooo cheap and want to do things the cheapest way vs getting a real DTF set up. Who does this in their house 🤦🏿♂️
"a real dtf set up"... bruh, this whole industry is pretty new, it's trial and error, and slapping together what works. Even those 3-5k printers that you probably consider "real dtf" are just Epson innards under the casing. Epson doesn't source their heads to these companies. Literally for ever "real dtf" printer out there, there is a carcass of an Epson printer in some landfill.
