Thanks for the vid guys! I hope you didn't touch the factory settings of the internal trim pots because I used this video as a reference to re-calibrate mine! (don't worry, it's sounding good!) Cheers!
After about 8 months of trying to solve what I called "the flanger problem," I finally bought a Hartman last summer. It is a really really nice sounding flanger, and I don't have to fiddle with it too much to get a nice sound -- just hit the footswitch it seems. Very warm, and with a good compressor like a Keeley you can get some awesome 80s sounds. If you want an Electric Mistress-style flanger (rather than an A/DA or MXR type), this is the way to go.
I own this flanger and I still like watching this demo and others of it. If you ask me what my favorite pedal is, I will probably answer the MXR Phase 90. But in truth it is probably the Hartman Flanger. I love every chance I get to use it. Plus, look how sparkly it is with that paint job.
Saw that paint job on GigRig Dan's old pedal board and it reminded me of my sparkly yellow Effectrode Helios. It sure would look nice sitting next to that. Hmmm...
I know this is an old video, but could someone confirm what chip was inside this particular pedal? Was it the Reticon SAD 1024A microchip version or the MN3007 microchip version. Please get back to me and let me know. Thank you :)

It is a very nice Flanger.... thanks for watching
Amazing demo
The nicest flanger I’ve ever heard.
Wow, best flanger I've heard. I usually hate this effect. I thinl I would actually use this one. GREAT JOB Hartman Electronics!

Very strange! thanks for pointing that out
Does this pedal have the Reticon or the Panasonic chip?

why did they stop making these?
will it be produced again?
GREAT FLANGER but I got rid of mine because of THE HUGE VOLUME BUMP when it was turned on. Now I'm using a ADA.....might give Hartman another chance.
+Reggie Moses Actually this pedal has a Volume trim-pot on the inside for adjusting the "unity-gain" sweetspot of any kind of rig...
crank that depth, man! I wanna hear some zero-thru(ish) flanging :D
2:50-4:16 very nice.
There is a problem with the characteres (the writing on the bottom of the screen)...
At 3:41 they start tilting donw to the right side of the screen...
Ibanez fl99 better?
At 3:55 you can't read anything... Just trying to help...
